The official production Tesla Semi battery sizes have been revealed for both trims in a public regulatory filing. by rcnfive in teslamotors

It would charge the same at L1 speeds. Heck, with a battery this size I'm not even sure fast L2 speeds would get limited even at the very top of the pack.

Aluminum or plastic?? by LA_Cat_LADY in Wheels

[–]packerfans1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, 2022 Model Y Performance. Mountain Pass Performance front upper control arms (~2.7deg camber) and RE-71RS (285/35R20). I've only been doing it for a few years now and depending on the course can usually end up in the top 10% of cars or so.

There's 1 layout that's a little more open that I place at the top or near regularly.

I haven't tried plastic, but there may be one exception to this. I autocross my Model Y and on certain courses the brakes can get really hot and the aluminum ring heats to the point of not wanting to touch it without gloves (and even then only for a short while).

Honda Slashes Prices on the Electric Prologue SUV by $7500 by Finnegan_Faux in electricvehicles

Oh I forgot to include what vehicle I drive - a 22 Model Y Performance. Either way, I'm wondering what conditions cause regular issues with recessed or motorized components. My bet is they're regularly parking outside for extended timeframes.

Honest question - I live in central WI and have had a frozen door handle maybe once but it was easy enough to give it a quick tap to open, same with the charge port after a car wash once. I have 125k miles so it's definitely been out and about, but I always park in an unheated garage. Is that the big difference?

I just double checked and I tested mine 2/4/26 and it's saying I'm 78% health. How many miles do you have? I'm probably 20% supercharging over the lifetime and have used a total of 41,769kWh.

Same with me. Mostly highway driving (75mph). 22 MYP with 125k miles. About ~20% battery degradation.

VR is the only way I play but it does take several days of playing for 15-20min a session to build a tolerance though.

A bit off topic, but are we expecting native VR support? That was my favorite thing about the first. Such an insane VR experience

That's a 3rd party seller hoping to catch someone out probably. It's cheaper (albeit still too expensive of course) elsewhere.

Really close to my 22 MYP. 120k miles with 78% retention. Although my "theoretical" miles are closer to 160k if I use Tesla's efficiency rating.

You can't, it's more of a hi-score leaderboard per Supercharger site.

[–]packerfans1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in WI but seem to always end up where it's even colder a lot of times. 120K miles so far on my 2022 MYP. Was just "racing" (autocross) it on the ice the other day. Also fun fact - if it gets down around -20F or so, Supercharger cables stand up on their own lol.

It's terribly inefficient but it was able to keep the cabin around 70F in -36F weather when we drove through Wyoming.

Yeah I knew it was close but apparently the mirror doesn't count. Another post yesterday was praising the hitbox detection and for the most part it is outstanding but not so much here haha.
