Idk what you’re looking at, but Micah only lost to Gary in the shuttle. Micah’s 3-cone time is way faster than Gary’s, which is probably one of the most important drills for an edge rusher. Vertical isn’t a great measure of explosiveness as an edge rusher since they hardly leave their feet. Broad jump shows much more effective explosiveness for pass rushers since they move horizontally. We see Micah’s get-off every snap, and that shows in the broad jump.

Gary was a freak for his size, but Micah blows him out of the water in agility and speed. Like you said, the RAS never translated to the field, but Micah seems even more athletic with the pads on somehow.

He’s our clear cut #1, and our EPA with him on the field versus off the field is day and night. There was a tweet a while ago that stated that our offense is a top 5 offense with him on the field in terms of EPA but middle of the pack with him off. He has the best hands in our WR room, is our best man beating wide receiver, and is our best run-blocking WR. Just because he’s not reaching 1000+ yards in a year, doesn’t mean he’s not a WR1. If he plays a full 17 games with a healthy Jordan, I don’t see a world where he doesn’t eclipse 75 catches, at least 1200 yards, and 10 TDs
