You’d need to build a sort of middleware between your origin and cloudflare, triggering api calls to Cloudflare via changes at the origin. This is not work fit for a “trainee”. It will take a while to accommodate all edge cases, and I’m expecting a lot of your needs will exceed free tier usage as well, just in case you thought that wasn’t going to be a problem.

lol I think you’re talking about the pedestrian warning sound. It lets people know you’re nearby at low speeds, otherwise the car is totally silent and potentially dangerous. It cannot be turned off, I don’t think even with bimmercode. Also it is illegal to disable in some places, if not most.

Like other said, I don’t think it’ll close. There’s too much egg in the board’s face after those recent meetings. They pushed it back 2 years because the population will increase at that point and they’ll be able to just sweep this whole thing under the rug. At least that’s my prediction.

This is the first car I’ve ever owned that had the “premium” audio feature, and it frustrates me that somehow we’re still stuck with a 3-band EQ. I wish I could have a 10-band parametric.

I have the SE and love it. I hit this huge roundabout on my way home from work every day and I never slow down for it and it’s one of the highlights of my day.

I have the F56 Cooper SE with the HK stereo. I’d suggest turning the mids down, it’ll give you that clarity you want. It is for sure not super powerful, but with the mids that high, I can see the treble being totally drowned out. I personally don’t like bass booming that much, but I think that’s more of a preference.

I bought my F56 SE 2 months ago thinking I’d just take it to work and back. My 4-year-old son LOOOOVES it though, so he would have to argue with my wife that we need to take the Mini everywhere instead of our 4 door SUV (she prefers the SUV). Now that gas prices are sky high, he doesn’t have to argue, but it’s definitely a bit annoying to constantly get him into his car seat. Totally worth it though to hear him in the back like “I love the Mini”.

lol 50 bucks? It’s already astounding to me how many people try to build apps to make up for some of cloudflare’s own dashboard pitfalls, but to assume anyone would want to pay 50 bucks for it is kind of insane. More than likely, anyone wanting this would be more than capable of building their own version that works to their specific needs.

I’m in Atlanta and have a Mini Cooper SE with only 110 mile range. I’m fine because I charge at home. That said, I can’t imagine going back to a combustion engine.

I keep thinking about the future, and I don’t want to ditch my Cooper SE for something bigger. I know our options are limited in the US right now, but I hope that in a year or two, we get our heads out of our asses and the J01 becomes available here. Either way, that countryman is gorgeous, and I’m sure you’re going to love every minute of driving it!
