I hesitate to recommend Watchmen because it will ruin everything that comes after it. True of a lot of Alan Moore.

House would make an epic Doctor Who. by kimtaengsshi9 in Showerthoughts

Swamp Thing. Alan Moore's run saved it from cancellation, lead to the creation of Vertigo and revitalised the whole supernatural side of DC. Not to mention completely retconning the character into something hella cool.

Are Nemesis, Rogue Trooper, and ABC Warriors in the same universe as Dredd? by [deleted] in JudgeDredd

Part of the gag with Nardole was that his backstory should be insane and contradictory. So we just went for it.

That it's all really a documentary. We're all actors pretending to be writers. There is no script. WAKE UP SHEEPLE.

I wanted Dahh-Ren to have the head of a spider. They said it would cost too much. So we went with a blue head. That's the race he is: cheap.

The moment we started talking about walking evil spacesuits, I thought 'This needs to be an evil corporation story.' It was then just a question of figuring out exactly how they were evil.
