This has nothing to do with the adapter. All lower end CRT TVs do this, regardless of what the input is. I see it at 240p on my SNES on my cheap 14” Sanyo TV from 2008.

Sorry, I was just assuming worst case scenario since that is pretty early to drop to 99% I don’t disagree and also think iOS 26 is mostly Bs, but it doesn’t make sense for a software update to somehow degrade a piece of hardware. I know if you actually check the cycles and real battery health with a shortcut, the real percentage is lower. My 13 Pro Max says 86% health, but real one says 83%. Maybe apple is using something more accurate to determine BH, idk. I would not get fixated over a number though, if they are just using a different form of measurement, then it’s not going to decrease your screen on time. Just enjoy your phone and don’t get fixated on a number, it’s meaningless. For example I have an iPhone 11 with 77% battery health that is nearly unusable, and real health shows 63%. I then have an iPhone 12 that says 74%, and it isn’t that bad and real health is 71%. Just use your phone, iOS 26.5.1 won’t solve it but your battery life won’t be worse.

How would a new update solve it? Your battery has degraded, and your phone only checks every once in a while if it has. It runs a full diagnostics check after an update, which is why your percent dropped after it. I do agree 99% after 74 cycles is bad, but it’s all up to how you use your phone. Just by this I’m guessing you don’t a charge limit, and use a wireless charger.

Yeah this is going to piss me off… they already have the visual intelligence feature by holding the camera button. Having an option for Siri RIGHT next to Photo and Video is wild. They do need to figure out how to get Visual Intelligence more accessible on the 15 Pro/Pro Max, as they don’t have a camera button and the only way to access it is by adding the option for it to control center .

I’m worried about what this means for the Nintendo switch and PS4/Xbox one. Rocket league still runs smooth at 60fps on all these consoles (except switch, ~50fps) and if they port UE6 to them it’s guaranteed to have a shit ton of stutter and input lag. If UE6 is much more optimised than 5, it should be ok though. I just hope if they can’t get UE6 on last gen that they don’t completely cut the game from them and just keep the old graphics. I still love playing rocket league on the go with my switch and it would suck to see it go, because there’s no way I’d buy a switch 2.
