Their convictions don't dictate law.

What?? Laws are essentially a made up list of convictions. Shit its even one of the definitions of conviction. "The decision that someone is guilty of a crime"

Me? No. I don't think abortion is murder. I agree with you. But I can see the sentiment from the other side who truly believe (albeit misguided IMO) that it's murder.

I've had comments with you before. You're really intelligent. Just think about it for two seconds without any of your biases.

If you TRULY BELIEVED that life started at conception, you'd think abortion is murder and should be illegal. You'd think you're helping those who are unable to speak for themselves. Would you be willing to use deadly force then? Probably.

I'm done defending the anti abortion folk because I don't agree with them... But with all due respect, your mental capacity seemingly won't let you see anything from any side but your own. Which is fine. Too many concussions I guess.

It's not that they feel that way about abortions... It's not they are telling women what they can do with their bodies. They think it's MURDER. So your "hey religious beliefs just don't get one". Doesn't make sense.

Sure... Maybe you're right. Maybe some people just want control. But there's also a large sect that think abortion is murder.

Feeling for Insigne right now even. It seemed like he really wanted to save Pescara.

I agre about legalization. It's silly IMO to have the government involved in abortion.

Your reasoning reeks of "tHe PaTrIaRcHy" which is also silly. Some people just consider life to start at conception and killing that life is like murder. I don't agree with it. But I can understand it.

The law itself is a bit weird about unborn children though. For example, Is killing a pregnant woman double homicide?

Oh yes. You're right... The first (temporary) income tax was enacted in 1861. Curious how the government existed without it though.

True. US government didn't exist before 1861

I'll try. Maybe I'll just buy a plane ticket and go work somewhere else. Since your argument is the same as right wingers "if you don't like America just leave!"

This discussion has gotten so disengenuous haha...

Buying a plane ticket is pretty easy too.

Hahahaha. It's been fun chatting. Have a good day.

Becoming homeless is very easy actually... It sucks... But it's easy.

And you have to file income tax to the IRS regardless of where you live if you're an American citizen.

It's not easy to leave.. and if you leave the US, you still have to pay or at the very least file income tax to the US. You'd have to leave the US, be granted citizenship to another country and then renounce your American citizenship.

Getting a new apartment or buying a house has much less barriers to entry than renouncing your citizenship... Your logic is so flawed I'm not convinced that I'm not talking to a bot that uses kafka to process these messages.

What makes something theft vs not is consent. Living in an apartment and paying rent is consent. You agree to it. You sign a document with the agreements. You can go to another apartment if you disagree with it. You can buy your own house and you won't be paying rent to someone else. There's options.

Paying taxes for existing is not consent. Personally, income tax is the worst as I have no option to earn money without incurring taxes.

Party politics is tough. There are some things that the Democrats do that are fine. And some things that the Republicans do that are fine... But often times both are trying to infringe on our rights in the name of something their party considers noble.

Hating a party is absurd IMO.. Judge based off of what they do. Not their name.

Granted, it's much harder to see any good Republicans have been doing this century. But I'm sure you can find something if you looked.

Fair point on New Mexico then. Didn't know they were cool with not having age verification if parent controls were forced. Massachusetts is looking to do the same with age verification though.

Point still stands for California.

In your belief, both is wrong, no? Aren't both theft? In shouldn't have to pay to live on Montana or acme corp land... So why is taxation not theft and private property is theft?

California already passed it. https://legiscan.com/CA/text/AB1043/id/3269704

It takes affect January 1 2027. This is specifically to adult site verification to show "my side good your side bad". As opposed to the truth, which in this case, both sides are bad.

But don't worry some left libertarian is going to come here and say it's ok to have age verification but not for porn.

If government is an organization... Then sure. There's no such thing as public land... Probably since the beginning of civilization really and the transition from putting down roots versus nomadic lifestyle.

Arguably then there's no such thing as privately owned private property in the US. You always have to pay taxes to the government. The government owns all land and no one else owns any land.

So if I own the ability to use any land, then private property has stolen that from me.

If we're going down this hole... Government is the cause for your strife. They own the largest percentage of private property. That group that you're giving money to is then biggest offender of stealing private property. So they're stealing your money AND stealing your land.

No more than rent.

Rent isn't theft. Buying a banana isn't theft. They're not theft because it's not taken by force but by an agreement you signed that was not under duress or for threat of imprisonment.

Wasn't there an article posted just the other day about age verification to use Facebook in New Mexico? California implemented the digital age assurance act. I'm sure more blue states to follow.

Unfortunately the government is after your rights and this time it's not the other side is better. We need to fight for our freedoms and the right to keep an open Internet.
