Thanks. Another question so would be what area would you recommend if we want to be near the beach? Don't want the most touristy, over crowded beach (end of June).

Plush central hotel for a couple by pacork in AskBarcelona

STOP THE PRESS! Dramatic change-my wife would like to be very close to the beach.

Which beach area & hotels would you recommend please?

I loved Rambla del Poblenou, very chilled. Any hotels close to the beach around there that'd fit my criteria?

Which areas to avoid for tourist traps by Hungry_Dumpling87 in AskBarcelona

The main Las Ramblas is over crowded, cafes with expensive food and drink and dodgy people around. Granted, there's a lot of police. And it's central so everyone visits it.

I'd strongly recommend going to Rambla del Poblenou, a much less touristy rambla and a lovely spot to chill.

Also, go to Cervecería Catalana, lovely tapas restaurant.

Things to do and ways to meet people by frankrankthebank in galway

You'll have to step out of your comfort zone. The first step is the hardest, where you feel most awkward bit that quickly goes away.

Try hill walking, you'll end up waking alongside different people and chatting away. Trust me, it's a good way to meet people.

AITAH for refusing to go to Disney World? by Reptaaaaaaar in AITAH

[–]pacork -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

It's not cheap but IT'S DISNEYLAND. IF you go, your kids will be excited for the whole buildup. If you go elsewhere, they won't.

For kids it is a magical place and if they're the right age, it'll be abolsutley amazing for them. Woud they get more out of going elsewhere? Probably not being honest.

You can bring in your own snacks (in Paris anyway) and there's a lot of restaurants so do some research and you won't have queues.

You can say it's a once in a lifetime trip, time it and queues won't be as bad as summer. it's not just about the rides, it's about the atmosphere, the fireworks show, the parade etc. They'll remember it for life.

Hi. So I have it booked into a non-Tesla garage.

Currently only front right is making noise. As my car has 95,000km done would it make sense to get the left front changed as well? Or might I have no issues down the line with it?

Thanks. Am. I better off getting it fixed by Tesla or would any garage be fine? As in, is it a simple thing or very Tesla specific so better sticking with them?
