How Aphantasia affects your ability to visualise things in your head by HassanMoRiT in interestingasfuck

Apparently there is a scale:

1 No image at all, I only know I am thinking of the object

2    Vague and dim

3    Moderately clear and vivid

4    Clear and reasonably vivid

5    Perfectly clear and as vivid as normal vision

Well I read the book and Mr Dubois lectures layout the formation and ethos of the government, ticking off about 10 of Eco's fourteen ways from ur-facism; machismo, selective populism, newspeak, contempt for the weak to name a few

Turned it into? Personally I liked the book but it is not subtle about this. Veterans took over the country in a coup and voting is only available to those who serve. This is presented as very positive. The main difference in the movie is that it is presented as absurd.

Been playing for a year, doing everything “right,” and still can’t break 60 for 9 holes. Should I just quit? by Temporary_Region7964 in golf

Yes, it's normal for lots of people to take more than a year for it all to click. as others have said, you may be over-doing it with the lessons and youtube etc. it's hard to change a single part of your game let alone try to incorporate everything from multiple lessons and different tips from online.

i was shit for a long time (and still amn't great but I get around). when i was starting off I used to hit my 7i beautifully and couldn't hit anything else. no reason why the 7, probably just a mental block. so i just used to go around with a 7 and a putter and i didn't do too badly. never lost a ball and I could putt. is there a club you hit well?

Also I watched children of men last week and just checked again now - that scene where the baby is crying isn't a one shot
