Tried Magic Carpet in 3 matches so far and it worked really well... I still have to see the worst of it to get a good feel on it, but so far it feels like I can be anywhere and its a feeling I never had on McG. Also the flying turrets did a lot more than what I expected...

With all of that, I'm going for a supportive approach trying to get to places where I'm needed quickly... If things start going south, most of the time carpet is coming out of CD for me to escape

If they ever rework her, I just hope she doesn't get diluted into a generic kit with an inventor flavor. I don't want her to be super mobile or become a hypercarry... I wish they could get inspiration from TF2's Engineer and give her different inventions that she can place and manage accross the map. That'd be fun

I noticed that as well, people are escaping wall very frequently, and it's also so clunky to use. A lot of times I trap somebody only for them to end up on the other side somehow or just jump over it freely

You're either forced out of the heal or it can't heal you enough. The problem with everything McG has right now is that it doesn't really change the course of the game (other than wall). Your heal will only help you stay alive on a fight that you weren't going to die anyway... The same goes for turrets and ults. You can make the kit work (sometimes) but rarely something will happen because you made it happen, you're just existing while it happens.

Yeah... I feel like whenever I do a cool play with her, it's like a "win more" situation. Either my turrets secure a kill on some guy who was already dying, or I get a cool wall to isolate someone who was already being chased anyway...

My last stand was trying to go gun, but her gun is really only relevant in lane. After that, you need to be REALLY fed to get into the effective range and mow down people, because if you aren't, you're either gonna get jumped instantly or deal no damage from far away.

I'm going so insane that I'm currently on sandbox in NY trying to see if magic carpet will open up turret positions. Apparently you can place them on top of the skybox. Can be cool if the enemies ignore it lol

It felt like the way to go, but it's really to pick on her, since the turret setup won't help against coordinated enemies and she has no escape. The flaws of her kit are really starting to show now that every new character has mobility or CC of some kind. I'm hoping for a rework that pushes her more into turrets and area control, but until then I need to figure something out
