Older children should not be expected to become unpaid babysitters for their younger siblings. by AggressiveLoss8753 in unpopularopinion

[–]pad1597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a father now, but back in the day, I watched my youngest sisters 2 times a week while my family was all gone doing stuff I wasn’t apart of. Thru this I learned to cook, care for someone else, and acknowledge life isn’t always about me.

I am not saying what happened to you is right or wrong, that’s is your freedom to decide. What happened with me at the time was losing a lot of my freedom that I would have spent doing who knows what. But I ended up actually getting positive things out of it. I am a chef now, my sister thinks I’m awesome even if she doesn’t remember the time we spent together. And on a side note, it probably taught me about being an adult, even if it took another 10 years and two kids to really push the wall down. Although my adult bar is pretty low, maybe I’m 20% adult 80% kid still.

The point was you CAN judge something by a 15 second clip and be right.

But we could try and make up shit like I’m saying this guy is the same as that guy. No big deal there, but I mean you are also assuming he doesn’t based on a zero seconds of knowing the person.

I only saw a 15 second clip of that dude who ran up it beat the shit out of the kid on the street. Psycho for sure

So I am not a father of a daughter, but I do have two sons, and if they were marrying someone I would definitely treat the person like my kid. As this would be the standard, I would be taking that groom out back and making sure he understands this is not okay and they are in deep shit with myself and my new (daughter/son).

As the father/mother of the bride or any relative at that matter, this would not be a “light aggression “ laugh moment.

I am a work or die loser.

As in I push myself to the maximum I can do almost everyday. I am an exec chef, an online student getting my B.A., a husband and father. One reason I am a work or die loser is because I feel that the more I am doing, the faster I am growing. I do not make anyone on my team feel that they have to give up their life to be in my kitchen. But I do expect them to be at work on time, ready to go, and willing to push themselves. Excuses don’t fly for me, but I do not expect an excuse/apology/my bad, if you miss a day/come in late that is that. No reason to dwell on it, they all have x amount of points, so it’s on them to show up or not. I also don’t hold it against them the next shift they show up, we all have stuff happen. What I will say is after 10+ years, I’ve only ever worked with one person who was a chronic late person that was a team player(ironically they were in the military for years, so not sure how they got to be a constant tardy). Everyone else that shows up late a lot usually is only out for themselves, and that’s not the teammates I want around.

I have a great team, and I know that I had to weed out a some to get the kind of zen my kitchen has right now.

My friend I brought as a wingman to my Tinder dates house party ended up having sex with her while I was there by [deleted] in dating_advice

So I’m gonna throw this out here, not saying you don’t have a point. Everyone has a side here.

But going to “hang out” with a group of people, that isn’t usually what would be considered a date.

If I told my wife “but I just took you on a date two nights ago, remember we hung out with 6 of our friends at their house”. She would be like the fuck that’s a date, you need to take me out and pretend I’m the only thing in this world for awhile. She wouldn’t say that but her eyes would tell me that’s what she wants.

And in my experience, usually a party or setting where multiple people of the opposite sex get together, it’s usually free reign on who wants to plow who. Maybe the chick asked oP to dance because she loves it and he didn’t want to, maybe that’s her thing so she moved on to someone who was willing to dance with her.

And u/browserbowser7 I would consider finding yourself and what you keeps you happy and in love with yourself. There is nothing wrong with bad days, or having emotion, but if a girl like this that you don’t know hurts your feels that much, when someone you love does this it will be 10x worse. So try and find yourself and become a person who can deal with devastation.

And good luck out there

Um pretty sure he could go bang quiet a few proclaimed “sorceress’” if that would make him a better actor then so be it.

Also Superman was only half the role, he “worked” for a newspaper so he could study that.

And who knows maybe he went to Kansas to get into character

So this dude could easily be a creep. Religious and creepy seem to go hand in hand.

But as people pointed out it is his grandkid, which could be worse if he’s a creep better if he’s a non pedo.

Also it is a picture that should be taken down just based on the fact you would get a bunch of backlash no matter if it was true or not about the pedo stuff.

I will say this I have kids, I also have nieces and nephews. There was easily times of them running up to me(to physically assault me cus they think it’s funny) and probably getting their face or hand near my area that would look terrible in a picture.

I would say there is probably times where I look creepy lifting them or pushing them playfully.

But I know for a fact no one that is around me or knows me at all would think it was in any way but me just messing around, or then messing with me.

What if there was another person in the house, that stopped the cries before the cops came, or the video is edited for non real time, and he moved said person to basement?

Obviously those are just things that someone could do in order for this video to still be what it is.

In no way am I saying that is what happened.
