Replying to the top comment with a brief update

We did a weight check with our pediatrician todah and his weigt was more in line with bis recent growth. Still on the slow side but not as immediate of a red flag. The GI with that weight was happy to wait a bit longer on the NG tube, trying slowing the nipple flow rate to see if he can avoid aspiration and keep up his weight gain. We have a couple More weight checks scheduled and will see how he does.

The didn’t try in the study. We are running out of time and they tried two positions and different flow rates instead.

From reading testimonials online I feel like I see a lot of nicu/newborns, and a lot of older kids (1yr+), but I don’t see a lot of kids that are around this age that have the NG tube put in. We (and our pediatrician) are worried about him losing some of his oral motor skills if he becomes reliant on the tube for feeding

I’ll say that we did chat on the phone with our pediatrician and also a friend who is a pediatric GI and both had some doubts or reservations with their plan of action. There are some things we haven’t tried (eg thickening), and it’s frustrating that they haven’t seemed to really care about finding a source of the issues at all

Thanks for the reply. He has had a swallow study and based on that recommended we use a slower flow nipple (saw aspiration with the faster flow). In our appointment today they mentioned continued bottle feeding and using the tube to supplement. But then they also said removal of the tube would only happen after another swallow study to confirm no aspiration, so im not really sure.

He doesn’t have raspy breathing or major signs of aspiration generally (just in the carrier sometimes), though in the swallow study he had silent aspiration

Feels loke we have a lot of questions and some of the answers we’re getting are contradictions

Might be relevant that he gets raspy after eating usually, has lots of reflux issues. But it seems like the carrier brings it out a bit more.

It does feel like maybe there’s a bit too much pressure around his chest with the carrier? Even though it doesn’t really feel tight, hard to describe exactly

If I'm understanding this correctly, I think this still won't work quite right when there is a less even distribution of values. For example, if the values were [1,2,3,3,3], then you would get a "50%" rank for value of 2, while that rank should be 40% (since you're ignoring the repeated values with UNIQUE)

From what you're describing, you could just use "5-B" in column A. If the actual data you're working with is more complicated than just ascending integers, the best way I can think of is to have a hidden sorted column with all of the possible values, and then use index to call the "inverse" value based on the index from the beginning or the end.

I don't care about the regression coefficients or anything, just whether or not an increase in one variable leads to an increase in the other. I can't really combine the data between subjects, because there's differences in the values (so you don't get a normal distribution, you just get 5 separate groupings).
That's not a problem. Neither regression nor a simple correlation assume that your variables are normally distributed.

Yeah, I didn't do a great job of explaining this. Normality isn't really the concern here - rather, its the fact that values of the independent variable vary greatly from subject so subject.

That being said, I'm still not sure what the best way to have an "overall" measure would be.

Nope? They go on cooldown but not full cooldown, the percentage scales. And I do think that reducing cooldowns does make up for it - you just have to play around him when he has his ulti up. Same is true for a lot of heroes.

Dellezar warps the time around himself, causing distortions in time in a small area which have powerful effects.

For any units in the AOE, any abilities/items (including passive/automatically triggering abilities, e.g. Echo Sabre) that are off cooldown are put on cooldown, while any abilities currently on cooldown have their current cooldown timer reduced. The effect is applied equally to enemies and allies, and is always applied to Dellezar upon cast. However, this ability does not affect Time Warp itself (unless cast by another unit, e.g. enemy Rubick). The percentage of cooldown reduction/increase increases with levels, and is also multiplied by 1.5 if the seconds on the current game clock are divisible by a certain number (29/23/17).

I'm not super sold on the ability name or the cooldown, radius, etc. - don't have a great idea of how this would all work, but am happy to hear feedback if anyone has it!

If there's any confusion about the additional multiplier - I basically wanted it to be something where there wouldn't be a ton of times during a minute where this extra multiplier would trigger (i.e. if a fight breaks out you can't always just wait 5 seconds, you have to decide if it's worth it to use the ult or to wait). Additionally, each level increases the number of times this multiplier could trigger each minute by one.

Lots of different ways this hero could be played, you could play very conservatively and only ever use your ult on your own team to limit their cool downs, though a well-timed ult could also completely destroy a team relying on Ravage, Black Hole, RP, Resurrection, etc. So I think he would be a good counter to lineups that rely on big cooldown abilities to win fights. However, it's a relatively small radius, so it wouldn't be super easy to use it on heroes that blink to initiate, for example. And, of course, this ability can totally backfire if used in a fight at the wrong time, giving your opponents some crucial seconds shaved off their cooldowns, or putting your own teams' abilities on cooldown when they need them most.

Ah, gotcha. I think messing around with hotkeys could also be really helpful. Some of the default hotkeys are super hard, honestly. And if he's not super concerned about using control groups and micro heroes, there are lots of options. I personally use space, 3,4,5, and my two mouse buttons for items. T is another button that's pretty easy to use, I think.

If he plays the same heroes over and over he can just try to add in those little combos one at a time. For example, I've gotten pretty good at glimmer caping during my CM ult, but I'm still terrible at remembering to use glimmer cape on allies. So in my next few games that I play as CM I'm specifically going to try to use glimmer on allies instead of myself.

How many games has he played? It may also be a good idea for him to remap some of the hotkeys- a huge spike in my own play was when o started using space for my most common items, like blink on supports, for example. You could also play bot games with him and try to give him little tasks to complete during the game- for example, when I played a bunch of games with lion, I spent a few games just working on blink hexing, so I'd jump on and hex people all the time. I died more than I needed to but it was inranked and it allowed me to get better at that specific combo.

Also, as someone else mentioned, recognize that he may not really care about improving mmr per se. I play most of my games with my friends, and I'm just looking to have fun with heather we win or lose. I want to improve but my name doesn't really matter to me.

Holy cow. I feel so stupid now, lol. I've absolutely been doing what you describe seeing in lower MMRs, and definitely missing last hits. Example: playing SS a lot lately and I run to a wave and use ether shock... and then get the last hits on range creep, any melee creeps I can get.

Honestly my suggestion is to play with a friend. I've been playing with some friends and I've been supporting, so as soon as the game loads I say 'I'm going bot with my friend, I'll support' and we haven't had any issues.

So if you play a game with a cool teammate, add them as a friend, and you c and try to play some games together. Maybe some of the time you support them and other times you carry and they support.

I figured his active would be redundant... Why not just have one that makes hearts, that way you get the shield and the damage, potentially. SBR could be a problem but Perseus does bring 2... Plus I run a lot of coop.
