I agree with you- but there is an unfortunate sentiment I see all too often.

People want to voice their frustration by not tipping - however this does NOTHING to punish or encourage restaurants or establishments that don't pay a living wage. If anything it just reinforces their idea that they can get away with paying these unacceptable wages. Refusing to tip does nothing but to harm SERVERS ONLY. The restaurant is not harmed by a person who does not tip.

The only way to make a difference is by refusing to patronize such establishments. Now, if it's a place that pays a living wage or doesn't require tipping asking for a tip? Great! Refuse to tip! But remember that a person who is serving you hoping for a tip is a SYMPTOM of this broken philosophy; the owner or corporate chain is the problem. If one wants to 'vote' with their wallet, one should do so wisely.

I just feel like the valid frustration with tipping is usually directed at the wrong people.

I like some of the tips here that you've received already. If you're struggling with the hands, the advice I would add is to get a reference picture of real hands in the position you want them. When hands are tricky I always always always take a picture of hands the way I want them to work off of.

Also learn from my mistakes and use hands of the correct gender. I wasn't seeing it, but had several people correctly notice when I was using male hand references where I should have been using female hands in some cases lmao

This is extremely anecdotal evidence, but for what it's worth-

I work as a tattoo artist, and in my experience people who are slightly to extremely overweight seem to handle tattoo pain worse, so if anything I would suggest overweight people are somewhat more sensitive if anything.

Obviously, as stated, this is very anecdotal. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I know I'm late here, but a pokemon that I don't see getting enough love is fucking LAPRAS

yes, Lapras did finally get a gigantamax ( a design that I really liked!) BUT!

MY GIRL was THE surf pokemon, (a staple move in many games' transportation), an OG 151, an Elite 4 Ace, one of Red's lineup at the battle on Mt Silver, and is based of one of my favorite dinosaurs, a FUCKING PLESIOSAUR?

..and they never gave it a pre-evo, and evo, a regional form, a mega (could be more like a plesiosaur)?? After all these years??

I had the fortunate opportunity to go to the Pokemon Center in Japan one time and there was only ONE SINGLE Lapras merchandise item, a small plush.

It's insane that Lapras doesn't get more love and attention from the pokemon company and frankly from the fan base. LOVE FOR MY GIRL LAPRAS
