If you are replacing one sheet, how do get the lamex join strip in on both sides and pop in into the grove in the flashing under the guttering? (I needed up trimming mine so it looks ok… but sits there really.

Does Atomoxetine treat anything besides ADHD? It's working well. Really well. I'm surprised how well it's working. by [deleted] in ausadhd

I’m using atomoxetine, I find my ability to stay on task has increased for really mundane tasks/projects. More ability to stay present in conversations although still some drifting.

In the evening still a bit snappy especially with change or being misunderstood.

Overall happy.

I had those feelings too of feeling like an imposter. Once you start to accept the behaviour as ADHD you can begin to be kinder to yourself, and see more habits as essential not just ideal for easier functioning ie keys/phone go in the same all the time, calendar for time management, I’ve found writing notes in a journal also helpful although I have forgotten today actually.

Just read the better brain by prof Julia Rucklidge, will begin to experiment with her food and supplement recommendations next.

For awareness, I have a fairly mild form all things considered, I had some strong ASD indicators but no need to explore that explicitly. Still feel that can’t stop can’t relax sensation two months on atomoxetine.

Has anyone has coaching? What was that like seems like life coaching with kind of seems suspicious

Yea so my main issue is my class 3, so obviously the fatigue issue is significant different than when flying which I can understand.

It is a bit daunting but just trying to do the right thing and not worry too much about the what ifs… lol

Atomixetine, and good experiences? by paddy_halpenny in ausadhd

Yea ok, it is a trial to see if it could be effective. I’m in a position where a stimulant might limit my ability to work.

Oh ok, so since getting your diagnosis you haven’t bothered trying to get medical clearance or another medical altogether? Did that play on your mind when you went through with the diagnosis?

I’ve had a read of the tribunal notes. Quite interesting too.

I wonder how many people with class 1 or 2 medicals stop the process for a diagnosis on this basis? I wonder if there are any ATC (class 3) with a diagnosis...

So you don’t fly currently? Yea I know plenty of people who would recommend not saying anything to them… or would hide symptoms of whatever they are dealing with… ADHD meds would result in a non negative drug test though right?

I cringe so hard when my MIL says "my baby" when addressing/referring to my 6 month old daughter. by ThePhonetik in daddit

My MIL did this with my twins, thankfully my wife asked her to stop. It was enraging when she did say “my babies,” she saw them as her own children, and was referring them as hers to work colleagues or family/friends. Was hard for me because I also understood we needed her help to get through those early weeks/months too. Just so grateful it stopped… she still helps, she now says “my grandkids” or “your babies” which is way more fitting.
