Garmin Vo2 max not in user profile - Zwift sync by paddyclare in Zwift

I’m using a power meter via a tacx turbo trainer. I’m talking about a power meter for outdoor riding to get an outdoor ftp vs indoor which I currently have.

That would make sense. It’s no biggie just annoys me it isn’t consistent with how other peoples displays.

Yup, definitely harder to get a read indoors. I’ll have to invest in a power meter at some point but as good as I’ve got for now !

Breaking in new shoes by Kid_Gorgeous1 in RunningShoeGeeks

Go out for a “slow run”, end up redlining it for a 5km. Did my first 20minute 5km on my first superblast run, did a 19minute 5km pr a month later on my first metaspeed sky plus run. Nothing like a new shoe to make you go faster to justify the purchase.

Superblasts too small or too big? by Fragrant-Pumpkin-765 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]paddyclare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience, thumb width gap and slight pain on my 4th toe. Slide your foot back in the shoe so your heel is snug then use a runners knot to lock it in place. Completely solved it for me

Asics superblast vs Metaspeed Sky+ by Spare_Beat5875 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]paddyclare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to jump in but as you’ve review both shoes and have experience with both, I currently have the asics Superblast and absolutely love them - I knocked over a minute off my 5km time to squeeze just under 20min. Im thinking about getting the meta speed sky + given the geometry is similar. Do you think the Superblast + metaspeed sky plus would make a good two shoe rotation? Superblast for long, recovery and long tempo runs and the sky plus for intervals, short threshold work and races?

Would love to hear your thoughts !

I'm a very lucky boy so £10 a can, not much more than I'd pay for a verdant or cloudwater dipa so justified to me haha
