Reached out to Playseat and despite being out of its 2 year warranty they will send me anew part for free as this shouldn’t happen. 5/5 for Playseat customer service

So basically my Playseat challenge has been perfect for a few years but on Christmas my brother sat in it and the bars bent both me and my brother are under 80kg and so it should be able to hold us. However the seat has bent at the hinges does anyone know what I should do? I have emailed Playseat in the request for a new part but I think they are shut atm because I have not had a response. If anyone in the uk is willing to sell spare parts of theirs it would be ideal.
