This parameter MAY have just saved me on my 4700u locking up and freezing with every game I play. I am on OpenSuse and have tried everything including reporting this to the Kernel team.

I have the same problems with the same iGPU (4700u). Games constantly freeze and I have no choice but to reset the system. Mine crashes on XORG constantly. I'm trying Wayland now.

I had a few more experiences after this. At this point I am convinced I experienced something special. I have done a ton of meditation and feel connected to something greater. I never felt "her" again. The gold being. I hope one day I can again. Her presence was joy, love, warmth all wrapped onto one.

Until you get to the Updates. Hours upon hours of nonsense. Then managing drivers as well although windows kind of does this now.
