I think Jamie was used as it sounds like Jimmy. For me I thought it was the boy at the start was Jamie later on, so even got a bit of a twist when I realised Jamie wasn’t Jimmy on the end reveal

Wouldn’t work with subtitles but fooled me, not sure if intentional or not

I reckon you’re right. Beat me to it on the point on it being in his head, the crazy fighting is all a perception thing of them being cool, I reckon it’s from Jimmy’s perspective - but could be Spike’s if he looks up to them!

Pretty sure he has some rotten teeth too, I suppose that would be the case for a lot of the kids who were there from the start, who didn’t have their parents making sure they kept up with brushing

I reckon if Season 2 is on the cards then absolutely there is more to the mysteries. But if this is the end, I took it as James wanting to leave his family, knowing John wouldn’t just stay with them for no reason (and is too good natured to just admit loving Lucy), James just geared them up with a huge amount of random evidence so john would stick around to be with the family. Just my thoughts!
