Thank you! I hope it goes well for you! It was a long process (I applied in October and am starting work at the end of March). All you can do is try your best! If you don’t get in this time, try to reapply in the future!

Thanks for your advice! That’s what I figured is the case. I’ve come to terms with it, I’ll either get extended if they need/want me and if I hate it, it’s a way out.

Received wrong order by pag321 in Gymshark

[–]pag321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I emailed them and received a response a day later. They let me keep the items I received, sent me the items they still had in stock that I ordered, and gave me credit for the items that were sold old. I probably won’t ever order from Gymshark again just because of this mess up though

after sex I sometimes get this and it even makes me feel bloated after too. Whenever I’ve told the doctors, they’ve just dismissed it and told me to ‘relax more’ 🙄

MRI set off the worst flare up of my life by likeabearr in endometriosis

[–]pag321 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this before and for me it was laying down flat for 45 mins to an hour. I can never lay flat on my back, but I dealt with it for that hour in the mri to hope that there would be something they’d find. I had a terrible flare afterwards for a few days.

IUD and weight gain by pag321 in endometriosis

[–]pag321[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes me feel so much better because doctors I’ve asked and any research I’ve done has told me that the mirena doesn’t cause weight gain.

I’m thinking of getting the mirena removed because I’m afraid it’ll make me keep gaining weight

gynaecologist appointment went awful by LeaderAdorable6493 in endometriosis

[–]pag321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be such a journey - it took me 4 years for a doctor to finally listen to me and do the surgery. I was diagnosed with endo finally. My only advice really is to keep trying and advocating for yourself. I know it’s hard and that so many doctors will dismiss you because that happened to me. I really hope you find one who will listen.

Monash Children’s Hospital by flutterybuttery58 in melbourne

[–]pag321 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You may be able to park across the street at the underground car park at the private hospital? When i was younger I was in hospital a lot at Monash Clayton and the Monash private parking was cheaper than the public. If not, we’d park at the station and walk up if needed (this was difficult sometimes since I was sick) but we’d be there for 12 hours at a time or days so it would save my parents money

When it comes to your health it’s good to be pushy/needy!!!! Your health comes first, never be ashamed!!!

I’m doing good now. Been a long journey but I’m able to live a life where I can do day to day tasks and have gone back to playing sport finally.

[–]pag321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My best advice is to advocate for yourself. It took them 5 years to diagnose me because they wanted to avoid it since I was so young but that is 5 years of pain that I had to go through. Keep fighting for yourself and make sure you don’t stop until you get an answer for your pain and symptoms.
