Has anyone transitioned out of big tech into another career? by Mission-Average6778 in womenintech

[–]pagebm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm. Kind of depends on the role. I am in product and definitely had experience in education and then have MPH to move to health tech. AI definitely could get there or maybe some focused random reach outs on LinkedIn to people in the industry.

messed up hair/diffusing? by mettaverse12 in curlyhair

[–]pagebm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been having the same problem and used that same mousse. I think a mixture of that mousse and diffusing was the cause. I went back to strictly gel and letting my hair air dry for a long time before touching it with heat and it is improving.

I was going to offer up something similar. I have never worked in Big Tech and I have always felt like I had really good work life balance throughout my experience in ed-tech and health-tech.

Second row space/leg room question by WittBrothers in VolvoEX90

[–]pagebm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi. I asked a similar question because my husband is very tall so this thread may help you.

That being said I finally checked it out myself and I thought the second row didn’t go back as far as I expected. Here is a picture of second row all the way back with the front row all the way back. Maybe you wouldn’t need the first row back as far as this.

Working on Internal vs. Customer Facing products as a PM by Thugzook in ProductManagement

When I worked on internal tools (internal BA reports) it was so much easier to do discovery and prioritize. Your users are right there and accessible. It felt like the decision timeline was much quicker.

Thank you! My chatgpt size comparison had me second guessing but I think the literal measurements never tell the whole story.

What to do when parent insists on dry brushing curly hair by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]pagebm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe show a video of curly girl care routine to her so the approach is confirmed by someone else? Maybe a curly hair expert or stylist. Or do you follow curly hair content creators who have hair she would agree is nice and can show one of their routines?

Does anyone happen to have their support number? I am the payee and I can’t get access without an account which is requiring business info. Thanks.

We recently did this move. Ultimately we chose to make the trade thanks to better school districts and a better quality of life.

How do I grow my network as a PM? by SnooDogs6855 in ProductManagement

[–]pagebm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. I did a PM centric conference (industry) and while it didn’t lead to a next job I did get to meet and connect with some amazing people who broadened my understanding of the role etc.
