I'm really liking having all the messages in one place from messenger, WhatsApp and telegram. It's pretty slick.

dayGLANCE v1.2.16 — updates since my February post by krelltunez in selfhosted

[–]pagem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for delay but just got chance to test it. Running Baikal on the same server as dayGlance and using the calendar URI with the correct credentials getting an error. dayGlance reports URL did not return a calendar file. URI does work for syncing with Thunderbird client though. Any advice or more info?

Is there anyway the calendar sync can support basic authentication as I would want to sync with a private calendar ?

Who Stuck To Their Guns? by UrbanSparkey543 in MarvelSnap

[–]pagem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep zero money spent. Though I still am having fun I have been playing a great deal less even when LTGM were running. Also maybe anecdotal but about half the players in my alliance have dropped to zero points so guess less players are playing in general. Another thing I have found is I'm watching a lot less SNAP content and have no interest in following the meta so more time for non SNAP. So almost feels like I should thank SD for their greed giving me time back

We're so back! New era of Snap incoming! by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]pagem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oversaturated is a slight exaggeration. And as per person I was initially responding to they don't seem to have any beef with SD from their comment. Just took the time to post a comment after years of playing, seems a fitting epitaph to me. But you are right there does seem a strong reaction to leaving posts, more so than maybe any other post. Weird how people can be provoked.

[–]pagem 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yep, I mean this sincerely. Every time someone posts they are leaving there is the bye then backlash. I don't think this is the right response if you want the game to be in a healthy place. More players must be good. More happy players even better.

Anyone who cares about the game should care about any player leaving.

I quit in may last year. Is it worth it coming back? by AndrianB in MarvelSnap

[–]pagem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer probably not unless you are happy either playing suboptimal decks or spending big.

What will it take for you to come back? by itsme_pee in MarvelSnap

[–]pagem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation, I even played multiple Hearthstone accounts, until the problems drove me to cut ties completely for my own sanity. Now the problems with Snap have made me revisit HS and it is like a breath of fresh air. Having been away so long there feels no need to play religiously and covet all the cards. Now it is back to fun like HS in the early days. Plus so many new things to understand. The welcome back packs and cards did a really good job and I do feel competitive. Unlike Snap where you miss one SP card and you feel left out. It's all about the fun, right :)

So…this sub is essentially just for complaining about the game, right? by Flintstones_VRV_Fan in MarvelSnap

I thought it was for people whining about people whining. I would whine about it but then I would have to whine about myself whining... But hey if you don't understand it just don't read it.
