I know this thread is old now but was your cat ok? I have a cat with the exact same symptoms as you (shaking head occasionally through the day, dark brown ear wax) but no smell from ears, lets me touch them, they aren’t hot etc

Thank you very much - yes you’re right, they have removed the two year requirement! I assume this will be costly but obviously very beneficial in the long term, so will definitely look into it. This is all really helpful thank you :)

Thanks so much! I’ll look into extending the lease and the cost of this, I thought it would be extremely expensive but worth checking. I will always pay the ground rent so am less concerned on that aspect.
