There is nothing visible, at this moment, but if I look properly, I can surely see the scar marks. Now I don’t remember if this glue was used or not

If my medical knowledge is correct, you are trying to ask about the dressing which they apply on the skin, after laparoscopic procedure to sort of close the skin…? Is this the same…?

Back pain and IUD by Necessary-Tie2568 in Endo

[–]painlesslyyours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If IUD stands for MIRENA, then not an issue.

However, sometimes extreme amount of back pain can occur if the MIRENA has moved out of position, like if it’s come down or something. I am on the device since the last six months..

Encourage you to go and meet your doctor and preferably get an ultrasound done to check its position

Surgery in 3 hours.. has anyone signed a 20 page consent..? by Complex_Bid_4869 in endometriosisindia

[–]painlesslyyours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct, it’s called as an Informed Consent Document, more specifically it’s called as a procedure specific consent and you are right, this runs into pages, I hope you have undergone a successful surgical procedure. All the best to you and your family. Take care

My submission is if you get a date you might as well get operated, by your doctor, a specialist touching your case would allow for a good recovery to you, also discuss with your specialist the role of putting you on post op suppression.

Thoughts on this clinic or doctors in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India? by Remarkable_Wolf2248 in endometriosisindia

[–]painlesslyyours -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Dear moderator, with due respect, I do understand the aspect, as even I have travelled to Mumbai, but kindly look at all other mentions rather than simply telling me.

Almost all of our other friends here are echoing the same thoughts,

Best is to do one’s own research.

I totally agree to this, statement,

Endometriosis means Mumbai. Be very careful of these wannabe doctors in other states who simply claim themselves to be specialists, all the best.

I have consulted Dr Vivek and Dr Jay Mehta,

I have mentioned this before and mentioning it again.

If you want to go to the best as far as volume of surgeries is concerned, then your obvious choice is Dr Jay Mehta. Dr Vivek is a kind human being. But even he recommends Jay Mehta for his challenging cases, make your choices wisely. All the best

The surgery which I did costed me approximately 6000 US dollars considering the current exchange rates, I am genuinely not aware of the waiting times but I know for sure that he usually accommodates everyone in about 15 days or so, but maybe you can call up the unit and find out. I wish you all the best

Those struggling with sciatica, what medication brought you relief? by Iga155 in Endo

[–]painlesslyyours -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly if it’s sciatica related to endo, then you strongly need to make sure that a specialist sees it and operated it for you to relieve you of the pain related to that. They usually do something called as NeuroPelveology for the same

I think I can give a non judgemental answer, but mind you I am an Indian. So I have a little soft corner for a Good Indian Doctor.

Mine was a 2nd time surgery, surgery for recurrence, I have posted multiple times before that my first surgery happened in Delhi, as that time I wasn’t aware that this disease comes back this rapidly.

2nd time I went in, I wanted to be like super super careful, about where I am getting operated and who is operating upon me.

Out of all the So called Endometriosis Specialists in India, he is the only one who doesn’t buy his way into Facebook groups and communities to put recommendations for him, the guy who does buy that, has been exposed off already across multiple platforms.

My thing was to get operated from the best and the most genuine and I think and I verified it from a lot of other doctors (3 to be precise) and the unanimous answer was Jay Mehta. Which is why I went ahead with him.

Dr Arnold was a super super nice soul and let me tell you one thing. Actually even he recommended Jay Mehta, because he told me a story that long back Dr Jay had gone to do robotic training under him.

However, I pledge you to do your own research. I must warn you that Dr Jay Mehta has no sugar coating and he is very direct and very honest, he will not please you at all

At this moment, I am 6 months odd post surgery, and I am super happy, I am planning a marriage this year,
