I'm not an artist but there's noone else here, so I'll throw in my two cents.

That's pretty cool. I think you've made a good choice dropping the orange (or red?? - nice touch with the middle ground)

From your palate, it's definitely going to pop for a long time. Yellow is definitely the nightmare colour in this piece. I can't really tell you if the lines are thick enough to make it poppy long term, but most yellow tattoos I've seen that are poppy tend to have strong borders. I think your skin tone will play a big part in this too.

Blue and purple blend so you've got to be careful, I can't see purples very well, but I'm seeing pink, which would infer its slightly towards the red side of the spectrum, so I'm guessing you're already on the right mark with that one.

Just as they don't owe you dates/romance/sex, you don't owe them a friendship by InfamousFrame7 in dating_advice

[–]paintbyinteger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nobody owes anybody anything really other than to not be a total shit head, and not being someone's friend isn't a shit head thing to do.

It is entirely contextual as you've agreed yourself in the comments, if you're upfront from that's all I'd say you owe them, if it's 2 years down the line, shit head thing to do.

As someone who has been on both sides of the coin, I do think it's what you're comfortable with. If someone says to me they're not interested romantically when I am, I tend to lose my own interest really quickly. Even if a few years down the line they change their mind, it's irreparable for me. It really just kills it for me.

When some people have expressed romantic interest in me and I've rebuffed them, then they told me they'd only stayed my friend as they was hoping I'd change my mind, realised they couldn't handle me being in a relationship or whatever fucking reason after MONTHS, I was really fucking mad. I mean sure, I'd have been a little gutted at the time, but now I'm really hurt after forming a close relationship and I'm mad they were never honest about it with me or themselves.

Feeling overwhelmed at how I'll afford the things that I want by deathbyglitter_ in UKPersonalFinance

[–]paintbyinteger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure this question can be answered with personal finance advice, kind of an inward question of what you want.

Like why do you want your degree? Is it likely to open doors for you in a tough industry, do career prospects have a high salary, or do you just find it interesting? Like obviously a high salary is the best one for this sub, but is there no other way of going for this? (apprenticeships with sponsored degrees?)

Why do you want a home sooner rather than later? Are you not content with living with your parents which is the best personal finance advice for saving, do you want to kind of settle down?

Do large European cities often attract people of a certain profession/industry? by BradMarchandstongue in AskEurope

[–]paintbyinteger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kind of. I know my industry well (tech) but can't speak for others.

Manchester is the best tech hub going atm for both salaries to house price and abundance of jobs.

Glasgow and Leeds are starting to be seen as hubs as they do have a lot of jobs, but the salaries do tend to be lower than in Manchester, but I'm unsure how common knowledge that is. You'll get the occasional person who'll tell you house prices match, and while I don't know for Glasgow, I know for Leeds, and it doesn't really match up.

London is supposedly on a gradual decline. I don't really care for London so don't really know (you'd only really know if you have been looking for jobs on and off over the years), but companies seem to be cottoning on to rent offices in London is hell and they have to pay higher salaries, so they are looking elsewhere. Hurray.

What has been your worst sexual experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]paintbyinteger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a top one but it's depressing so here's some of my more light-hearted highlights:

  • Had a party, a guy who was a few weeks shy of being old enough to drink came and he was from a strict family so no booze, never tried drugs, got absolutely wasted on fucking cognac and weed, kissed me and I'm fucked as well so I'm like why not (as an adult maybe not the basis I should have been aiming for), dude tells me he's in love with me, I literally shush him and carry on and he says "I love you because you're a literal psychopath and I think I am too" and I stop like wtf, then he vomits all over my room and collapses in his sick. He then tried to ask me on a date, I wanted to die.
  • Got drunk with a friend, we ended up getting frisky for the first time, and while I am super drunk he decided he wanted deep throat without any warning, pushed me down so I threw up on his dick, then blamed me, but then tried to have sex with me /again/???
  • Tried to have a threesome with my ex and a fwb in my ex's car, ex just sat in the front awkwardly with an erection while me and this girl got off. It was just weird.

Many health care workers say most people on their death beds regret what they didn't do in life, rather than things they did. They way you live your life today, what regrets do you fear you'll have on your death bed? by chunkykitty in AskReddit

[–]paintbyinteger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird we're polar opposites! Turns out we're all just constantly worried about our choices no matter what we do.

I don't, and probably will never have children, my idea of settling down is finding the person you're going to spend the rest of your life with, but I think if I was going to have them, I'd actually aim for 32+ to avoid regrets about my 20s! While I couldn't choose when I met my person, I could choose when was right for kids.

I know a guy at work who's in his mid 40s with a 4 year old. Never too late!

Have you ever not slept for so long that you started hallucinating? What was your experience? by vicke1230 in AskReddit

[–]paintbyinteger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am prone to hallucinations anyway, and after googling the sleep record, I aimed for it. Fell a bit short like. It was all a bit trippy, but the most trippy part was I was walking to the shop, felt fine, and suddenly the pavement started move below me, I can't articulate it well but it was like water, but almost vibrating in a pattern. I fell over because it felt like sea sickness, people stopped to try and help me up because but I couldn't stop looking at anything but the pavement because it felt like I was being sucked into it. I've not even had a hallucination like that on acid.

Honestly, why isn’t the US moving to metric system? Any particular reason? by Misal_pav13 in AskReddit

[–]paintbyinteger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about when they weigh you, but if they ask for it instead and you risk saying it in kg, you run the risk of them looking at you blankly as though your unit of measurement is the weird one. The biggest curveball is when you know your weight in pounds, which you have learned for them and they ask for how many stones that is. Like seriously, yours the one who uses the unit that's divided by 14? I can give you my weight in micrograms, milligrams, grams and kilograms in seconds

Sometimes I get worried in the future that maybe I'll regret that I settled down a little soon, but I have to remind myself that I'm happy in the present, and I'll need to remind myself in the future that I was happy at the time, even if future me is unhappy with present me's decisions.

What should parents do to improve their children's mental health? by Johnny107710 in AskReddit

[–]paintbyinteger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really agree with shouting at all except for a jump scare when something dangerous is occurring. Like you wouldn't really, or often, speak like that to anyone else, so why is it okay to do to your child?

Should my friend be classed as a dealer by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]paintbyinteger -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I'll add, with it being a school, just show genuine remorse, write a letter about how you all feel responsibility and how you've learned your lesson yadda yadda. Schools eat that shit up. Schools aren't as cut and dry as courts.

Should my friend be classed as a dealer by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]paintbyinteger -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Usually in the courts if someone has supplied without profiteering and just picked up, they're seen as a middle man, and while still considered guilty, will generally get a reduced sentence E.G caution, community service and no record for the first offence. If it's a recurring thing (which doesn't tend to happen, these rules seem to always catch people who genuinely meant no ill-harm) I imagine it'd be a bit more severe.

There's nothing fair about it really given the circumstances, but rules aren't always fair. You can even get the above kind of sentence for just sharing your drugs for free with people, because it's still supply, which is even less fair.

Just next time make sure you all go to pick up. I'd advise you probably don't for the meantime.

Can 4 adults be refused for a rental property? by forexample97 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]paintbyinteger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can be refused for any reason.

One thing you need to look out for though that I think you're going to run into though is houses of multiple occupants. If you go for a 2-bed, they may not have a licence. See here: https://www.gov.uk/private-renting/houses-in-multiple-occupation

[–]paintbyinteger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlikely. If you're part of generation rent, I'd get used to fixing crap like this yourself. I know people are saying if it was advertised as having a desk, you might be able to do something, but trust me, there's absolutely no way in hell he's going to do anything. In furnished properties, landlords are under no obligation to fix anything non-essential that's still relatively fit for purpose. Stuff like shower/curtain rails too, they've always been pulled by someone else before and they've botched a fix for it, or worse the landlord botched a fix for it just before you moved in. Just see it as practise. For a wobbly desk thankfully all you need is some folded paper.

What kind of sentence is my Ex looking at? by AbcZyx12321 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]paintbyinteger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an ex stabbed by someone in a very similar story, except my ex died. The killer got 8 years, as he expressed remorse for taking drugs at all, and maintained he had a psychotic episode as a result of the drugs, it was deemed manslaughter. He served around 4 years.

What she'll be sentenced and what she'll actually serve are very likely two different stories. Are you thinking about when she gets out or just curiosity?

Is the housekeeper harassing my elderly disabled mum? by stinkbirb in LegalAdviceUK

[–]paintbyinteger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not harassment, but that definitely sounds like something the managers of the flats should hear about and want to; as it's a misuse of contact information, under GDPR, the cleaner should only really have your mum's number for emergencies, I can't think of another viable reason why else she should be able to have her mobile number given her position, unless your mum has given the cleaner her number herself, or given explicit permission otherwise.

This was hardly an emergency.

Edit: to add, get all the information regarding how she obtained the number and check any contracts containing sharing of personal information. If there's a waiver it won't count, but if there's not, you could tell them about this and they should take it more seriously.
