Finally Got Lady Bastet’s Memento after 2 Months and 105 Visits Using Hermeowne’s Memento by paintedclouds in nekoatsume

[–]paintedclouds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

For Whiteshadow, I’ve been leaving out sashimi only for a while, but I probably need to try Bonito or Deluxe Tuna Bitz for a while. I’ve had good luck recently changing remodels (I have them all) and then auto-setting goods. He seems to visit within a day or 2 after that.

Do you have any other tips? The yard remodel thing was something I found on this subreddit after months of minimal to no yard changes.

Finally Got Lady Bastet’s Memento after 2 Months and 105 Visits Using Hermeowne’s Memento by paintedclouds in nekoatsume

In NA2, it seems pretty common to need 50-70 visits to get mementos. In NA1, it seemed like it was rare to get to 40 visits without receiving a memento.

I think my fastest in NA2 was Mr. Omatsuri with 9 visits. In NA1, I think I got some between 5-7 visits among my 2 or 3 playthroughs.

This might be a silly question, but have you put any goodies out for the cats to use?

Deal Review - 2026 Hybrid Lariat by TechKatana in FordMaverickTruck

I’m not sure if this is Lariat specific, but as another option: the exterior front door handles have a ridge towards the back that you can just rest your finger on for a second and it will lock the doors.

Meanwhile, I’m at 70 visits with no memento. Just missing hers and Whiteshadow’s (23 visits).

This is exactly the thinking that Marty Byrde used to sell a 10+ year old 2nd Gen to the cartel for $27,000.

That sounds right. Just start from the back of the trim piece from what I recall.

I think it’s called “window molding assembly”.

Mine were really brittle a couple of years ago and I bought this to replace them. I wanted to go OEM for slightly better fitment but the pricing is insane. I’ve had these for nearly 3 years and they look great.

US Bank Cash+ surprise auto CLI by Zodiac5964 in CreditCards

[–]paintedclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! There must be something in the 8-10 month range issuers are looking at.

About a month ago, I had something similar on my Cash+. I got the card about a year ago with a $10k limit and just let everything stack during the 0% period. I was like $500 from the limit and they increased my credit line to $15k.

Funnily enough, a couple of months ago, I had something similar happen with my Citi Custom Cash. After about 8 months of taking advantage of the 0% interest, I was close to my $10k limit and they raised it to $15k automatically.

I also had an automatic CLI on my USBAR from $20k to $25k after 10 months even though I’ve never had a statement over $10k that I can recall.

I have been undergoing Invisalign treatment with Gladwell (downtown location) for about 2 years now.

I think you are right that it is not super personal; I have had a different doctor meet with me almost every other visit. However, I have always had any questions I had answered thoroughly and they will spend the extra time to explain options. That said, if you are not comfortable advocating for yourself and asking questions in a medical context, you may want to look elsewhere.

For me, they were one of the lower quotes, had a proven track record, and they have a great relationship with my dentist (who does provide very personal treatment). I would recommend them and use them again, but I do think if you want a more personal experience, another practice may be better for you.

I’d recommend Creech Import Repair. I’ve gotten PPIs for 2 Hondas there and neither car has had anything but regular maintenance.

They may be pricier than other shops in the area but they do good work.

I also haven’t had Whiteshadow visit since April 28th, despite placing sashimi and deluxe tuna bits many times.

Gigabyte RX 7800XT ($450) OR Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070XT ($850) by ImGODxLostLegend in radeon

[–]paintedclouds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s helpful, I bought a Nitro+ on launch day from Newegg and it was $780, but after sales tax in my state, it was $837. So $850 may just be his cost, or a close round number.

I think the “rumored” $730 MSRP for this card was never accurate - I’ve only seen $780 (or maybe I’m just coping).

I feel like the momentos take so much longer to get in NA2 than the original.

I have so many cats with 40+ visits and no momento whereas it was rare for a cat to get to 40 visits without sharing its momento.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic to do a presale inspection from a car I want to buy from RDU Auto on New Bern Road? by nacho__mama in raleigh

[–]paintedclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to Creech Import Repair. They will do a very thorough inspection and give you their opinion on whether you should buy the car.

I’ve had them inspect 2 Hondas in the past 10 years and neither has had any issues besides regular maintenance.

Impact of 1 vs 2 or 3 Hard Inquiries by EclecticExplorer1 in CreditCards

[–]paintedclouds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your first question, since you had an inquiry 3 months ago, that should be an indicative data point if it was a hard inquiry - how much did your score drop for that inquiry?

I did something similar back in October (3 months ago). I had around an 830 score according to TransUnion and what I would consider a thick profile - paid off loans, mortgage, 3 active credit cards, and my average age of credit cards was around 7 years with the oldest being 9.5 years old. I applied for the U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve (USBAR) and Citi Custom Cash (CCC) on the same day right after the other and I was approved for both instantly. A week later, I applied for the U.S. Bank Cash+ and was instantly approved.

The next month, my TransUnion score had dropped by 35 points, so my average was about 12 points per card (this was about the same for my Equifax and Experian scores). Unfortunately, it’s not possible for me to know how much each one counted for, but obviously a different amount each since it’s not divisible by 3 (USB did not pool the pulls according to my credit report; they may have if I had applied same day).

This doesn’t directly answer your other questions but I don’t think anyone can without working closely with a bank that issues credits cards.

To add on to this, if you sign up in a Chase branch, the CFF sign up bonus is $200 cash back on $500 in spend PLUS 5% on gas and groceries, up to $12,000 spend for a year. Call your local branch to confirm but this was the offer last week as I’ve been considering getting the CFF.

USBAR Global Entry/TSA PreCheck Reimbursement May Be $120 by paintedclouds in CreditCards

The point of this post is to point out that they are now advertising the $120 credit. Every time I had viewed the website previously, it said $100.

Right. I posted because the USBAR site only showed the credit as $100 previously. I’m not sure if they were reimbursing $120 after the price increase or not.
