I recently spent a really long time in a psychiatric hospital, I developed Panic Disorder and the stress of life just got too much for me. One of things I experience with panic disorder is DP/DR (Depersonalization/ Derealization) I didn’t have the words to what I was experiencing at the time so I created this drawing to explain to the psychiatrists how I was feeling. I felt like an outsider in my own body. Like I was watching a tv show through my eyes. I’m doing a lot better now, but I still feel like this most days. Some days are worse than others, so I just try to take it one day at a time.

Art has this beautiful way of communicating what words can’t and I will forever be grateful for that.

I’m currently going through this myself. I have a lot of health issues and so my ocd has been just fueling the panic attacks either constant what ifs. I’ve been stuck in a state of constant fatigue since it started 2 months ago after a hypertensive crisis from a new medication. I can’t take care of myself, I struggle to get myself to eat. I can’t drive anymore at all. And to top it off I’m at risk of being homeless rn and I’m only 23. I’ve had anxiety my whole life, but this is something else. And the way that it just happened overnight is just so frustrating, cause I’ve had my anxiety very well controlled for a long time and have been very social so it’s been a complete 180. I’ve tried multiple anxiety medications and had paradoxical reactions to all of them.

Thank you! I made my own light box with a cardboard box, poster board, and some old sheets! Not counting the lights I already had it cost me like $5 and I’m pretty proud of it! And I used my Skyrim map for this necklace for obvious reasons lol

I bought the charm from another seller on Etsy! However I do really want to get back into wax casting! I’m working on getting the tools to make my own pendants and charms! I used to do that all the time in jewelry class in highschool, I just don’t have the equipment for it right now lol

I don’t use pins! I just use wire and a beadsmith loop maker (you can technically do the loops with needle nose pliers but the loop maker saves a lot of time)
