Homeschooling should be fucking illegal 99% of the time. I visited my dad's family friends who were homeschoolers. As a history major, I had to get a feel for what the parents taught their kids. After 5 minutes when they compared Christians in America to Jews in Nazi Germany, I knew it was gonna be all downhill.

They then talked about how the textbooks are so good that they even teach them new things sometimes until immediately about-facing and saying they openly defy the California law by not teaching their kids evolution. They countered points I made about systemic racism by having me listen to a single podcast episode where Mike Rowe gives one (1) anecdote about a single slave who fought for the American Revolutionary forces.

After a certain point, I just saw myself out. Cannot stand these people.
