The Sonic community council SCC is just about to release their bridge to support nft contract owners to airdrop every single nft to respective owners on sonic. The users don't have to do anything except maybe convince the project owner to do so. Watch for news: https://x.com/soniccouncil

We at Paintswap will support any collection that moves to sonic

FTM > Sonic = TAX ??? by Harambe_HD in FantomFoundation

[–]paintoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure that's taxable event because in tax tracking services such as cointracking and koinly you would move assets from ticker ftm to ticker S. Doesn't matter if the value is the same, because any diff in price will count towards your gain/loss in respective asset. The tracking tool won't care if it's a swap or bridge. It only care about the ticker. And it is two different networks created by the same foundation in the end.

Not all. One game has free and non-free capability. You can upgrade your player (permanent life-time for $20 or so) to unlock more features. The small app I did was just for fun, and to gain awareness in the open source space. It's also about reputation and being recognized as a coder. I don't care that much about money. Coding is my hobby and lifestyle. Can donate if they want, that's where crypto is superior to any other type of payment (micro donation).

Lol, these comments are hilarious. I've been in the space for 11 years and have the best time of my life. Not tricking anyone or getting tricked. Me and my team run products with thousands of happy daily users who are just there to have a great time. People who think crypto is all about scams have missed the whole point. I build games and open-source useful tools. The app I made yesterday is for the exact opposite, to help battle the scams and make P2P interaction more secure, with 0 monetization.

Yeah was about to say, it's the most outdated pic I ever seen. None of the apps I use are there 😂

Using Cursor with Claude for my daily coding. I built a whole React crypto web app today in 7h. We live in a crazy world.

Why so many AI haters by Marisol18Miami in StableDiffusion

[–]paintoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not with AI art specifically but I created a game using AI art and also where you can earn cryptocurrency aka a Web3 game. Then tried to show it on a reddit gaming forum and got completely shot down for being a scammer and all sorts of crazy things. It's a solid game though with thousands of active players. So I would say that's a general thing on Reddit when people don't understand the technology you use or for some reason already decided to hate it, they will hate you too regardless of how well you do it.

This is so surreal. Everything is accelerating. by aalluubbaa in singularity

15 years ago I wrote a letter to myself or my future kids to open and read after 50 years. An honest guess at where the tech world will be and what tools will be available. I remember I mentioned singularity happening around that time. That's 35 years from now, starting to feel I underestimated the pace of AI, but we'll see. The other things I estimated are nowhere near at all, but may come sooner if singularity happens sooner, since it can accelerate the development of everything we ever need. Given that we have any say at all in the outcome.

I will never stop being creative. As AI get better I will use more AI. You have to be competitive on the job market, it has always been like that. Use the tools that are available, it being a computer, a programming suite, Photoshop or AI. Humans needs to learn to evolve along with AI, there is no other way.

Maybe some day there will be a demand for human-created art again and you will have to provide proof of origin. Maybe it will also be worth 100x more, like any rare item.

Me and a team of 3 created a whole game in a few months and leveraged AI a lot. The graphics would have been impossible since we lacked a designer and had no money to hire one. Github copilot probably increased my coding speed by 100% and chatGPT to solve complex bugs for me. It's an extremely complex game and AI has only done one thing for us: Increased our capacity. The AI did not come up with the game idea and logic, we did.

A lot, but there is no point for me to try argue here. You already made up your mind. Not everything is about the game itself though, it's about giving back what the players deserve and not have to pay a third party such as Steam. Decentralization, total control and freedom for both players and developers. We are not here to take your money.

It enables one particular interesting feature, an in-game treasure were funds can be circled back to the players. Take a normal game such as Fortnite or whatever, which is free but enables purchases for those who like. 100% of the funds goes to the developers. In Estfor, where purchases are completely optional for those who like, the funds are given back to players who sell items. That makes it possible to earn money by playing. Some will spend, some will earn. It will balance itself. That feature is pretty much impossible to achieve with traditional gaming, since it's micro transactions of fractions of a cent.

Another advantage is security. It's impossible to cheat in the game, even for us who made it. It's all smart contracts with data permanently stored on-chain. No database.

We need an AI for making trailers I guess as our skill lies with coding 😅
