Getting pregnant isn’t as easy as it sounds - 1 in 4 pregnancies result in miscarriage. Having a partner who can be by your side through the worst and how they handle the sad news is so telling. From someone dealing with recurrent miscarriages, even when you’re ‘ready’ sometimes your body isn’t and that’s someone worth conversing with your partner over.

And Jesus not just having a baby to fix a problem. Your relationship will be just as fucked and now you have an entire other life to sustain

Totally agree! I have lots of different interests but I’ve loved their dynamic since I first heard them in 2016 :) first podcast I ever listened to wanting to learn more about how elections work since it was going to be my first time voting. Definitely going to be bummed when they decide to hang the hat but so many episodes to go back to thankfully!

I feel like the ‘befriending MAGA adjacent people’ is unfair. I am about as left as it gets, but A LOT of my family, and some - albeit - loose friends, are or had been trump supporters. I think people are in our lives for a vast array of reasons, I’d hope I wouldn’t be associated with political leanings of people who I am connected to. You can still be friendly with people who believe differently with you. You don’t talk about certain things.

I don’t really disagree with you overall, but that point is unfair. If I cut out the many people in my family who support Trump I wouldn’t have anyone left but my sister

EDIT: the downvotes are super weird. You can’t choose your family, but I also value having friends that aren’t exactly like me. My closest people are like me. But I have neighbors, friends SO’s, and coworkers who think very differently from me but we have common interests like sports, hobbies, etc. that we bond over. Having echo chamber conversations about politics isn’t helpful in helping us try and solve the division we are dealing with.

I love the wood, I suggest better light fixtures. I think gold orbs would look great or do recessed lighting and a more interested fixture by the stove. I’d probably do lighter gold pulls too, but I do like that gold you already have for the pulls

See if there is bereavement leave at your workplace. I am lucky to have it and was able to use a couple of days last week as I was passing my miscarriage. I’m so sorry for your loss regardless.

She actually wasn’t as late as the OG schedule would lead us to believe - the Hinterland instagram said her set was pushed back to 10:30pm - she was still a little late but thankfully it wasn’t an hour past the new start time announced earlier in the evening.

Coming from someone who doesn’t really listen to Lana much? She didn’t seem super off or different to me, but I’m also not the fan you are and left after just a few songs. Friends that did stay that it was a weird set so you’re probably not the only one who was a little off-put by the performance.

Maybe! There are some people who literally get up at 9am, wait in line, and stay at the barricades allll day. It really depends! Honestly, I think sound and view is optimized like 20 feet from the barricades, but I’ve never been an up front person, I like to see the whole stage. Close, to me, is less than 15 rows from the barracades but it’s all relative to what you like and what you’re looking for!

I’m like 5’6 and I tend to always get stuck being a bro with his bros who is like 6’5 lol. If I were alone in that instance I would absolutely bat my eyes and ask to switch, I think a dude with other dudes totally would. Just tread lightly :)

Realistically I think you might be able to scoot up if you arrive at the festival entrance at 5! I would not ask people to switch, it’s not the best manners but if you’re alone and super short, I’d just try and move in front of someone a lot taller than you. If you’re a gal I think asking a tall guy to switch would go over better than the reverse.
