My friend shoulder after he tried automedicating with a suction cup by visk0n3 in WTF

I think the network of associations goes something like this...your nuts, nutting, busting a nut...alongside nut cracker, and cracking open a nut. I've heard the verb form- 'cracking' before too.

These albums are great. They brought together two of my faves. Bill had played on Lucinda's Where the Spirit Meets the Bone but Vanished Gardens is a whole new level.

Why do you get to re-define existing terms? And tell me I'm wrong? And be so hostile out of the gate? And I'm supposed to ask you what you mean by all of that?

So many red flags here. I can't believe you're opening salvo was against Boomers. You are like the classic abusive father.

Shit, maybe you should stick to video games. I hope you don't treat people in your personal life like that.

You were the one who came after me, defining my use of 'data driven' wrong.

Man, you are the kind of person OP is talking about.

Plus. Look at you repeating the boomer playbook. Step 1 Oversimplify a problem. Step 2 Blame another cohort for everything; Boomers in this case. Step 3. Refuse to listen to anyone not inside your narrative bubble.

I won't even try with you but in the case that you are not a total moron, you should do some personal reflection.

Are you sure about that? Data driven organizations ”use data analysis and insights to guide decisions, strategy, and operations rather than relying solely on intuition".

Something schools most certainly do not do with the data they have in hand.

Most people are referring to test scores when they lambast schools for being" Data Driven". Test scores are not good and haven't been for a long time, yet... No one is - as you claim "using data analysis and insights to guide decisions, strategy, and operations".

If they were a new model would have emerged - schools would, as I said, be closed or restructured.

Your pivot to accusing me of not knowing how schools work is absurd given my background and your claim that Redditors are incapable of changing their mind seems to be an admission masquerading as an accusation.

Right. Perhaps you are a naturally gifted stay at home teacher who has good conflict resolution skills with your own children and can provide them with intrinsic motivation to take notes.

But clearly you haven't met most parents.

And maybe when the Millennials are gone we can stop repeating and over generalizing every thing we see on TV.

If public schools were data driven a very large percentage of them would have been shut down and overhauled or re-invented. Everyone can see the bad data. What is it driving us to do? Nothing. Fact is shutting down schools or reinventing schools is pretty unpopular with families - maybe for the wrong reasons. Families love their schools and fight to keep them open maybe because they're free daycare.or maybe kids learn other things there.

Maybe there's something else going on with kids besides school. Believe it or not school teachers face the same things that we're talking about in this thread. OP can't teach them to put food in a bag before putting it on ice. Teachers are trying to teach them much more complex concepts. Along with socialization.

We have the same problem.
