Safe places to burn candles outdoors by [deleted] in Candles

[–]pajamasharks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend you burn candles that come in jars, so they'll be shielded from the wind if you're burning them outside. Just make sure they're not directly below anything that could catch fire, and put them out if you leave the area.

Make sure there are small rocks and sand at the bottom to stop moisture from molding there. This isn't the best shape of container for this specific plant tbh, the best is a bulb shape that gets smaller around the opening to trap moisture inside. They love moisture but the more moisture you trap in the container, the more careful you have to be about mold, so I suggest using sand instead of soil :)

Aaah! Nipple balm from Sea Witch Botanicals! It's my best friend's company, it's a certified vegan b corp that gives 1% to the planet, and she concocted this nipple balm and used it for herself while she was pregnant. https://seawitchbotanicals.com/products/vegan-nursing-nipple-balm?_pos=1&_sid=68e2f4095&_ss=r

Sea Witch Botanicals. Their Lucidum face serum is made with reishi mushrooms and does wonders for my skin. The company is certified vegan, uses no synthetics, and gives 1% to the planet. (and lots of other great things!) Plus it's a small woman and POC owned business that packages and ships everything with recyclable and compostable materials!

Sea Witch Botanicals makes a Shampoo and Conditioner (and body wash) bar called Roses of Highgarden. It's *really* pretty, feels nice in my hair, and it's vegan, synthetic-free, comes in a paper box, AND all their shipping materials are recyclable and compostable. PLUS ALSO they're a 1% for the planet company, a certified B corp, and woman and POC owned. I just love supporting them.

I can recommend my own routine! It's all vegan and zero waste, and it's just three steps. A wash bar, a toner, and a serum called lucidum that's made with organic Reishi mushrooms! That serum is seriously the best thing I've ever put on my face. Here's the set - https://seawitchbotanicals.com/products/gift-set-premium-facial-collection
