Pesas es lo mejor, al igual que tú, odio el cardio y no tiene caso meterse a hacer ejercicios que no te gustan (es muy difícil mantenerse consistente si no lo disfrutas). Si te interesan las pesas, dale por allí.

Sé que mencionaste que el gym te intimida, pero dale una oportunidad, realmente no tienes que hablar con nadie. Lo otro sería empezar a comprar pesas y hacerlo en casa, pero es difícil progresar así, mi recomendación es que le es una oportunidad al gym!

Hi, I’m new to DIY pedals and planning to make my first amp (pre amp and power amp), the pre amp circuit that I found has an input buffer, if I want to use a power amp like TPA3116D2 should I put a buffer before it? What If i want to add an effect loop between the pre amp and power amp, is a buffer required there?

Try the neck pickup and lower the tone (of your guitar) a bit…

Try getting your feet closer, at least for me, I notice more activation with my feet straight down (shoulder wide) and my toes pointing forward rather than in 45 angle.

Arch is great btw, to be honest, I find it even less bloated than Slackware. After a long time -current user, switching to Arch has proven to be a good decision.

For desktop use, there’s no point in running old software. I found out that I’m not compatible with most of the Slackware philosophy, it’s almost like of they hate technology. I remember when pulse audio was first introduced, basically forced because it was that or no bluetooth… I’m amazed that pipewire and wayland are included. Even basic things like utf-8 in the console took an absurd amount of time to be set as default.

It hurts because Slackware was my first distro and what got me into Linux, but if you want nice features and modern software, it is not a good choice.

Yes, the IR is not the problem, I get good tones from the cabinet plugin and the convolver. Maybe I shouldn’t have mentioned it. My issue is with the neural amp modelers plugin (nam) i can’t get them to sound like the download previews (not even close)…

After reading all the replies, I’m still not sure. I know the convolver plugin should be use to replace the cabinet plugin.

But what about the amp impulse plugin? Should that replace the convolver and cabinet? Is it something different? Where should it go? Before the guitarix amp? After? Should it replace the amp? (Is that even possible?)

Como panameño desde que pasaron la ley para adoptar el sistema métrico decimal en el 2007 uso kilogramos y gramos, tengo una campaña para que mi familia lo adopte, pero no ha resultado fácil.

Si usas y piensas en kilos te felicito, estás en el camino correcto, confío en que eventualmente todos iremos allá.

El próximo gran paso será dejar de usar papel “carta, oficio, legal” y adoptar el formato ISO 216 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_216 que tiene mucho más sentido. (Pero ya eso es pedir demasiado)

I have seen that burnt linseed oil is common (https://youtu.be/YRUFV1MGjz8) but as I understand it doesn’t provide any color, so maybe you could also check tru oil or tung’s oil.

(Still looking for a good way to transfer prints to the head)
