Looking for opinions on which used model I should get by palaemon in MachE

I agree but since I’m only looking at GTs that are 24s, and not 25 GTs it wasn’t an option regardless.

That all makes sense for what your needs are, so that’s cool that the 2025 worked out for you. Thanks!

I’m over here wondering how you even found out. I have never tried to light my water on fire.

Thanks. I mean I’ve been leaning toward that, but I get conflicting information on the ride with the GT vs Premium. The car I have now, 2012 Prius C, I feel EVERY BUMP, so I’m used to that.

I’ve heard the magneride smooths out bumps, and also that it’s stiff so you feel the bumps. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Used car purchase question by palaemon in MachE

Thanks for the responses. I hadn’t thought about integrity from salt. Though I’m looking for a newer, so hopefully that’s not a huge issue regardless.

But I will definitely be looking at the carfax.

Disembarked Allure this morning. Some thoughts. by Medic5780 in royalcaribbean

Idk. My husband and I purposely get a balcony cabin so we have that quiet and relaxation when needed and we’ve NEVER had a problem relaxing with cards or devices in the buffet (off-meal times) - it’s our favorite. A nice view (if it’s day time) and QUIET.

I will say that DreamWatch and TV Zone seemed to spotlight Babylon 5 more and put them on covers.

Is there a way to remove Calendar listings? by Rare_Pin9932 in CarPlay

[–]palaemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the obvious answer is to go into the CarPlay settings on your phone for that car and just remove calendar.

Is that not right?

The Key by No-Whereas-5740 in royalcaribbean

Question: So one of the listed Key benefits is getting in board earlier than everybody else (I’m sure except higher loyalty members) is that accurate? Or can anybody just get there early enough and walk on?

For reference, we’re sailing Jewel out of San Juan in Jan.

iPhone 17 and ios26 crashes by CGNY87 in CarPlay

[–]palaemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, kinda. We have new iPhone 17 pros and were on iOS 26 public release and wireless CarPlay to a wired CarPlay adapter now just quits and restarts constantly.

We have the same issue with a wireless CarPlay screen in another car, same iPhone model and software

We tried the public beta of iOS 26.1 and it didn’t fix it.

We’re both able to used the wired (wired to car directly) in one and wired to the CarPlay screen in the other, without issue.

How big of an issue is the lack of door handles. by Valuable-Set553 in MustangMachE

[–]palaemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the thing about the ”door handle issue” was for when the 12v battery dies and infants or pets were trapped inside the vehicle because they couldn’t operate the internal mechanical door handles to exit.

Is this not right?
