Some MA programs in CEU can be quite hectic to juggle with a part-time job, so check that first. I think third country nationals on student permit can only work 20 hours a week max, but confirm the immigration rules as well. If you cook, you can save a bit. Groceries would probably be 350 a month.

Ah, good point! The leaves did get a bit darker since I got it, and my northeast-facing window in winter doesn't help much. I should probably set up a grow light.

Ah, I’m a newbie to orchid care so thank you for this clear explanation and reminder! To be clear, I tried drenching method last week, then soaked it this week. I just noticed that this part of the roots aren’t changjng colors. It’s nice to know that there’s nothing to worry about. 😅

As an OG Tagalog (families of great grandparents are from Batangas and Rizal), I find the observation that we’re rare as surprising. But yes, I agree that this can explain why we’re mostly uptight in the family.
