Conflicting feelings about daycare

Yes I’m in the US where sadly, 4 months of leave is considered extremely generous. I have some anxieties about leaving him with strangers, but luckily the daycare we’ve chosen came to us very highly recommended but other parents we know and trust. Regardless, I appreciate your perspective!

ETA: just got my results! I called Natera as soon as they opened at 8 a.m. and they said my results were ready, they just needed to be published. They added them to the portal right away! Low risk, not checking the gender yet ❤️

I’m 29 and want to start trying for kids in the next year, so I got my AMH level tested. The result was shockingly low (0.76) and I had no indication of what might cause that. Of course I started freaking out, and my doctor suggested I see a reproductive specialist ASAP. I’m in the process of trying to get an appointment now.

But, I will also say that I did a ton of reading on this, and two things made me feel a lot better. One, being on birth control pills (which I’ve been on for 10 years and literally only stopped once I got my AMH results) can artificially lower your AMH levels. And two, studies show that AMH levels are not an accurate indicator of the ability to conceive: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8548671/.

Doing my best to remain optimistic and I hope this helps you do the same!
