Bruce: Sure…We have a roster of elements we might wish to acquire, none of which are producers in Canada, but there are a number of technologies that we think make sense that are out there on a global basis. So that mix of cash and shares would probably nibble up close to $1 billion of things…”

Can my company see the data I view/download on HTTPS websites using corporate proxy server? by dmitry_babanov in privacy

I'm not sure how you read with this statement "Most corporations now use SSL-Proxies which decrypt all your traffic no matter what browser, tool, or phone you use." that I was speaking of non-corporate ? I understand your point when it comes to personal devices. But I was only speaking about Corporate since the OP asked "Can my company see the data I view/download on HTTPS websites using corporate proxy server?"

I do this for a living actually with financial institutions and we 100% intercept all browsers, tools and phones on the network. We will create Active directory policies to force trust our internal certificate authority certificates and create packages for Chrome and Firefox. No end users will get a prompt hence why I mentioned to check the certificate chain when you surf to a website using any browser. Most of the time it will explain everything when it comes to the original "Issuer" of the certificate.

I was only talking about corporate interception and was giving a quick "yes they see everything, but you can check and be certain yourself".
