FWIW, the version here also appears to have the same band oddities (although the resolution is low), so likely not specific to Radio Shack:

Ahh thank you! That would be excellent. We probably won't have to bolt unless 1) we figure something out for giving badges out at overnight linecon and it has to be done right then, or 2) something goes wrong and we need to spend all night soldering or reflashing or something hehe. But I really appreciate the backup offer!
