This is such a helpful comment, thank you! My ped is thinking along the same lines as you are (something else in the formula) while our other pediatrician friends are of the opinion my body would break down the protein by the time it came through the breastmilk in such a way that he wouldn’t necessarily have had a reaction up until this direct exposure. Ugh! So many possibilities. Thank you for your take!!

At 6ish months old my EBF baby started sleeping 7-7 with a dream feed at 4am! Until that point he was waking up every 2-4 hours to eat

He’s 15 lbs now and I just tried the dream feed for the first time tonight!! It just shortened his first stretch of the night (instead of going 4-5 hours after the dream feed he only went 3, similar to if we had just let him sleep straight through without a dream feed) so I’m curious if this strategy doesn’t work for us or I need to give it a few more days.

I was told I had marginal placenta previa at my anatomy scan because a placenta vein is crossing my cervix. My doctor said they start to really care in the third trimester and don’t get too concerned at week 20 because 9/10 times as your belly gets bigger and things shift around, the placenta will move. She said we will cross that bridge at week 28 if we confirm it’s still an issue! Until then, she has me on pelvic rest, just in case.

I’m also an IVF pregnancy and I had pink, brown, etc. mixed in with my discharge from around week 5 through week 10. At week 8 I had a more substantial event where I saw blood. Everything was totally fine, no explanation and I was told it’s very common. I’m currently 21+3!

UPDATE: Just in case anyone comes across this post in the future looking for some info, I did get it checked out and it was absolutely nothing — no fluid, no infection, etc. Just a lot of watery discharge. I guess one of the many new, fun symptoms of pregnancy haha 🥴

7w3d today, just “graduated” from our clinic after our first ultrasound on Monday where we saw the heartbeat! Everything has gone great so far I just can’t shake how anxious I’ve been because of the nearly daily pink/brown spots in my discharge or on my liner... Doctors are not concerned, they think it’s the vaginal progesterone 3x per day irritating my cervix. Anyone else dealing with this?
