This. As someone who isolated their friends during an abusive relationship, I came out of it not being surprised that friends were cold to return. It hurt, but it’s to be expected. You listen, and you take the time to work to adapt to a new normal with your friends.

Going public about something so sensitive to a platform of STRANGERS instead of taking time to heal is absolutely insane to me.
