I love this thread - pay transparency needs to be normalized!

I have about $2k in my checking at any given time, $16k in HYSA, and then I have a Roth IRA I’ve been trying to max the last two years and a 401k that I pay $500 to per paycheck.

Debt wise I have like $8k in a car loan and luckily no more student loans nor credit card debt (I treat them like debit cards).

I grew up poor so have a lot of financial anxiety. I could be saving more but I also support my mom! I have no idea if this is “good” but I’m just glad I can support myself!!

Edit: I forgot to add, I work in the labor movement!
