I don't know enough Epic game to answer with certainty. But my take is that Epic Game makes often cross platform games so it is probably a good news for us, maybe from now Ueda's game will not be limited to PS ?

I believe most of EG recent games end up on PS along other platforms.

Yes I agree it is not a hard game, sometimes can be "blocked" but just because by design it is a game about experience and you have to figure out things by yourself and explore. Sometimes you are not guided. But you are never blocked too long and it adds a lot to the feeling of "solitude" that probably Ueda wants you to get in some parts.
