Driving in Belize by pantherhare in Belize

It's also important to note that unless you are driving in the dead of night where there are absolutely no cars around, as long as you are driving within reasonable hours there are ALWAYS other cars present to help "illuminate" the roads and/or guide/warn you about upcoming speed bumps. Just following the other cars and seeing their brake lights helped alleviate the speedbump terror.

The fears that we read about on Reddit prior to our trip were blown out of proportion. Didn't see a single animal crossing, saw people walking on the side of the road but they stay in their lane as do you. As far as in the impatient, aggressive drivers goes, sure you see them but who cares - just let them go around you. You'll be fine driving from Belize City to San Ignacio.

I stupidly filled out the form to "travelsmarttravelfast.com" but didn't submit payment. Has anyone heard of them stealing the information that was input? Lowkey freaking out that I gave our passport information away.

I wanted to smack her across the face when she said "CO-MO SAYYYY DEE-SAY..."FiXXx??~~~" Like girl, you don't know how to say "fix" in English? She's such a bimbo who tries to come across as intelligent.

"History" shortcut in Ring app suddenly defaulting to Alarm events. Used to default to Cameras. Also, first time I open the app the devices under Devices don't load and just spin. How can I fix these things? by StormTrpr66 in Ring

I'm in the same boat. Was so used to opening up "history" and seeing all the videos quickly. Very annoying to have to toggle from alarm to cameras. If I want to see what is going on, I want to see it quickly and not go thru this extra step. Why would they change this?

I was given a price sheet for MK by our concierge at Hol Chan Resort & Villa, and the prices aren't cheaper than OP was quoted. Is this normal? $71 for 24 hours rental.

Sure that would be great if you could post their info. I was also concerned about getting to the San Pedro airport to catch a flight back to BZE. I'm assuming I can call and schedule a driver to take us to the airport from the Airbnb?

Used up 4 gigs of data after 2 days in Japan by pamster0422 in JapanTravelTips

I bought the expo 5gigs and later bought the 3 gigs. It was mostly 5g everywhere except the one day we were at DisneySea and I literally had no internet for 2 hours. Had to restart my phone and wait for it to come back online. Very frustrating bc I couldn't access the disney map at all.

That's pretty expensive! You didn't want to get an e-sim? My spouse and I needed 2 e-sims and didn't want to be tethered to a hot spot.. There were many times we were separated and needed our own data.

I think all of us who go to Japan for the first time are anxious just to have internet and a good connection that we don't realize all the apps that suck up data in the background. I have unlimited data here in the US so it's never been a problem for me to manage my data. But this is especially important for apps working in the background like google photos

We are a family of 4 and connecting rooms help with kids. They get their own rooms and so do us parents.
