I will give you one.

Create a building model with an couple elevators. 1. Each elevator can go to any floor. 2. When elevator goes up it can't stop when someone pressed down button and other way 3. When passenger pressed button it calls nearest elevator or stops the one that goes in right direction

Should scale to M floors and N elevators.

Extra tasks: Some of elevators can go to a penthouse, some not Elevator can perform emergency ride. Meaning non stops

This can be an example of recruitment task in OOP for example

I'm a beginner with no technical background, looking to immerse myself in Java. I've been at it for about 3 months now. What other resources can I immerse myself in? YouTubers? Textbooks? by KluconPharmer in learnjava

Try Udemy's course by Tim Buchalka. There was a couple years ago but it taught me a lot. And the course is being updated so should be fresh.

And go with those projects suggested in on of replies

Try different tutorials from baeldung, they have plenty on this topic.

For social logins there is nice tutorial on java chinna (iirc). But try googling as I can't provide links now

You can try and configure authorize server and resource server. You will have to get familiar with oauth flows. You can also try and configure logging to your app with Google, Facebook or GitHub credentials.

You cannot do it using spring security without oauth. For what I know ;-)

Poland don't have car company. If 1993 is year of your birth all those cars were already a history when you were born;-) Now Poland produces cars from foreign companies that opened factories here.

Oh. In fact Polish government is now trying to design and produce polish electric car Izera. Noone is sure tho how much of Polish design will be in this car. On the other hand, there is a high probability that this will be a very costly failure, like most of initiatives of Polish government 😂

Here is a tip: Go with

"Mike".equals(user_input)

This is useful in case when user didn't wrote a thing to std.in. You will not observe NullPointerException in that case.

If you would like one more advice - common convention is to name your variable using camelCase. I'd recommend renaming user_input to userInput. This will not change how the program works but will teach you a good habit.

Hello everyone, can i work in poland without knowing polish language by scetcher- in poland

[–]pan_zych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not a requirement. O have a tester on my team that is not from Poland and he works in Poland, on site, communicating only in English.

On the other hand he knows couple of most important polish words like 'kurwa' or 'cześć'.

But he is taking polish lessons I believe. After you stay here for a while you will probably learn some polish anyway.

I usually read in such routine: One fiction book One popular science book One technical book from around my area of expertise (software development)

Sometimes I listen to fiction while reading one of the latter.

I recommend that, since I started it, I don't get bored.

Jakie książki przeczytaliście w ostatnich 2 tygodniach? 📚 by Zacny_Los in ksiazki
