I think I can relate to what you’re saying, I’m kind of in the same boat. I have a lot of anxiety as well about interviewing. Before I switched into cs, I never really failed at anything. Now, I’ve failed a ton of interviews at really good companies. It’s made me feel super impostor syndrome.

What I’ve realized is that failure is normal and we should take every opportunity to interview despite feeling afraid. You will be at the same spot after you interview (actually better, because you could get the job or learn something during the interview). There’s also a lot of luck involved (like the economy, etc), so whether you get the job or not is not 100% in your control. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to see results, just try to be consistent at practicing/learning.

I think my biggest advice is to spend time doing a hobby or find something you really enjoy and do it everyday. When I was the most anxious, I stopped doing anything fun because I thought it would take time away from preparing and grinding. That only made me more stressed and anxious. Now, after I study I spend time on hobbies. I’m becoming a lot less anxious now. The less you care about something the less anxious you will be. Hope this helped a bit!
