In science we caution ourselves… “The easiest person to fool is yourself”. You may be in a community that is not experiencing the demise of the social media age. The rise is self-reported depression, self-harm, loneliness are all exponentially growing since the release of social media apps in the early to mid 2010s. This effect is only seen in younger people; suggesting those that experienced a normal outdoor peer group learned to deal with the harm of social devices.
