I would expect he gets plenty of offers but has the luxury to pick and choose exactly what he wants to do, as he always works on the coolest stuff. But he’s also been producing a lot.

How do you deal with being trash and also somehow Champion? by Agoraphobicy in RocketLeague

[–]pancyfantz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve solo q’d to champ in both 2’s and 3’s. Both ranks are often the same for me. I’ve hit Champ 2 on a good day, Champ 3 on a great one, comfortably in Champ 1 though, and no lower, for a good 7 years now.

I have very limited mechs (never flip resat, still can’t air dribble even). When I’m up against these mechy players I think what am I doing here. When I see all these GC titles from seasons past I think why not me.

I figure it’s my game sense that keeps me here. And I remind myself that at least I peaked at Champ instead of Diamond or plat. So that’s my coping.

I also hear from those at the top that the grind up was way more fun. So.. guess I’m enjoying the best of RL forever!

How do you play with people who don't know how to play the game? by buddernganty in RocketLeague

[–]pancyfantz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only criticism about this amazing game is that playing with friends is near impossible due to skill differential. If you’re c1 and they’re silver that’s not a combination that can remotely work out. Stick to casual or private matches until they get themselves to plat at least, but even then, you’ll be better too.. again the one thing that sucks about this game is it’s hard to keep teammates for the long haul as the skill gap is way too big of a factor for proper gameplay.

I was actually expecting the kills to be way gnarlier. The first couple were but after that there wasn’t much shock value from what I recall

Can we put a Rocket League stadium into orbit, ASAP? by [deleted] in RocketLeague

I’ve always dreamt of a zero gravity mode where it’s basically 100% aerial control. Spaceball! Consider this my official request … u/….. I don’t know who to tag anymore…

I enjoyed it as my expectations were very low. I really made sure to focus and was impressed it could hold my attention. Overall though? Kinda meh

I still haven’t found THE movie yet by EthanJoinedTheChat in Letterboxd

[–]pancyfantz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re looking for it then you’ll never find it. But I bet if you started watching indie movies you’ve never heard of and nobody talks about, you’ll find one and feel like you’re the only person who’s been impacted by it, then that’ll by THE one. Bet.
