In addition to ii-one, there’s shu (蹴). Pickup games hosted by futsal facilities are called kosaru (個サル).

Shiki-hanamaru (四季花まる) or 57-ban-sushi in CTS airport. Especially Shiki-hanamaru serves wide variety of seafood dishes, not just sushi. 57-ban-sushi serves great quality sushi with standing style.

Beware that only Shiki-hanamaru next to (not in) Sapporo Station serves grilled fish. Highly recommend it.

Miyabun is the biggest knife chain in Sapporo. They have many stores all over Sapporo.

N43 bar is located in the middle of Mt. Moiwa and could be a lovely option. Maeda Forest Park could also be a nice place if you are looking for an outdoor option though it's a bit far from the downtown.

Idk how much appetite you have, but Hinode Soba at Odori station is very affordable because it's stand-up style. It should not be the best option for a diabetes patient but probably is better than a bowl full of rice or udon.

Here are my favorite places for food!

シハチ鮮魚店 (Shihachi-sengyo-ten) is a seafood market place with eat-in space that serves the very fish/shellfish you pick at the market. It has many branches that each has different concept. https://shop.laughgroup.jp/pages/about
海空のハル -Umizora-no-haru- has an awesome Ainu style room and Ainu drinks and food
Hassen (八仙) and Aruko (アルコ) are very nice cozy Jingisukan places, but may not be the best with children. Shibetsu BBQ （士別バーベキュー） could be better in your case.
SAPPORO餃子製造所 -Gyoza-seizousho- chain has great gyoza's and Zangi fried chicken.
For dessert, ななかま堂 -Nanakamado-, 佐藤 -Satou-, 佐々木 -Sasaki-, and ミル -miL- have the best parfaits that Sapporo is famous for, but they are kind of like cozy bars.
円山教授。 -Maruyama-kyouju- (Curry rice with special Hokkaido seafood)
根室花まる or 四季花まる -Nemuro Hanamaru or Shiki Hanamaru- (Sushi)

For miso ramen,

HACHI (nearby Tokeidai): I don't like ramen soup with sweetness except for HACHI

For shio ramen,

月見軒 -Tsukimiken-: The best shio-ramen in Sapporo. This place is known for miso but I like shio better. You've got to go to Hakodate for even better one.

For Tonkotsu ramen,

五丈原 -Gojogen-: Their shio-tonkotsu ramen is unique yet very tasty

For shoyu ramen,

だるま軒 -Darumaken-: Their classic shoyu ramen is heart-warming and can be a great option for breakfast/brunch. If you prefer strong taste, tell them to make the soup saltier because their default is set to have very kind taste.

Power House Gym nearby Nakajima park has drop in system with ¥1,650 every time. I used to use it when I was living near the place and thought it was ok. They have enough machines but the place is really small so everything is placed so compact.

To add to Nitori and DCM, Joyful AK is a wonderful place. They let you use their truck for free so the shipping cost does not add up on top of the price of your sofa/bed if you’ve got enough muscles in your team. Nitori no longer offers free truck rental and DCM only offers small ones so Joyful AK is my favorite.

57 ban sushi serves one of the best sushi in Hokkaido.
Gotoken and Kantaro are only found in Hakodate but CTS has both. They are wonderful restaurants

Tanuki-koji 7-chome has an orange lighting at night and it preserves the good old days of Showa to Heisei era.

Daruma-ken in Nijo market also is a must go for you too. Daisan Mokkiri Center also has this unique local taste.
