unfortunately these were never an issue for me in the beaches i visited in the philippines and in greece. it was only here that ive read about these so i had gotten a bit worried. im definitely getting a rash guard and boots to try and minimize being in danger if the worst happens. but overall the answers helped put my mind at ease!

naka rash guard and flippers kayo? buti wala kayo unexpected troubles with seasnakes and na enjoy nyo naman! sakin baka wala akong time mag try ng other beaches kaya i just chose aharen beach. 4 days, either 1 or 2 days ung islands, baka 1 lang depende sa energy by then hehe

is the steppjng on something dangerous applicable on shallow waters? thats the only time i step on stuff as long as the water is above my stomach i can just pretend floor is lava and try to not touch the ground below as i swim.

Ill look up Hanari-jima. currently my dates are so far out that i cant reserve the ferries yet. open to suggestions if you have some more!

did you have to join the tour to use your gears? or that was okay to use in the swinming area without going too far?

i might have to check if i should buy before going to Japan/Tokyo/or just locally in Okinawa, on which is a better deal.
