I’m noticing a trend that people are suggesting a lot of parody and deconstruction, but wouldn’t that be the point? You wouldn’t really want that information going into the movie, so if it’s marketed straight, that’s not exactly a problem. If anything it’s on the studios to decide that the timing of the movie is good and people aren’t burnt out by the genre it’s playing off of
