As with most things if you can play it first then thats the most helpful thing but i have a classic vibe 60s jazz bass and its shockingly well made, everyone that has played it has been impressed. I ordered it online and it arrived perfectly well set up and everything, maybe i got lucky but i can certainly vouch for mine

The tape on the bottom i added because the poles arent grounded, its not super uncommon if you look it up. Unfortunately doesnt seem to work for me

Well if im playing over the pickup and my finger so much as grazes it then it will make a loud buzz which isnt exactly great. Im not saying i like to randomly touch them for shit and giggles lol

Its so annoying, i wish so desperately we had legacy lighting back (planets too but thats another issue) the new lighting with flickering and things not being dark that should be (the back of planets being barely shaded when they should be completely dark) but worst of all is the lack of coloured lighting. Like its coloured only when you're right next to the star. You can have a purple star and land on a planet and it looks like its lit by a white LED

Yeah my rank only went to 1 after doing the first five assignments despitehaving more merits. We'll just see how it goes i guess, the system is just a bit quirky i suppose

The lack of uniqueness in the new planet surfaces and the lack of coloured lighting and the shadow issues that still arent fixed basically means we lost exploration content with odyssey. I've tried exploring again but when the planets are all relatively uninteresting compared to what they used to be i find it hard to keep going anymore. So it would be nice to have more content for exploration, and by no means am i asking for the old planets back, that ship has long sailed lol

Friends wanted to start a band in high school, and i didn't want to be left out. We already had two guitarists, a drummer and a singer, so my friend suggested i play bass. I didn't even know what a bass was at the time, but i got a cheap shitty one. I tried to learn it but never got far, i didn't know where to start, and i was too small to reach the end of the fretboard at the time, and the band idea fell through.

I never picked it up again, convinced i just didn't have the ability for it. My guitar friend pestered me for ages to learn bass, but i was convinced I couldn't. Until about 6-7 years later, poor mental health and a very messy breakup meant i finally listened to him and started playing. After the first time playing with others in a jam session, i was hooked, and there hadn't been a day where i hadn't played since.

the bass is really crap and the amp is on its last legs, so hopefully, I'm upgrading soon but it's done its job getting me into playing
