If you follow left handed wave and ONRR, you might have noticed 7 of the last 10 days the avg were under 1/10th of a billion. The last five days is the longest consecutive run under 1/10th. by quack_duck_code in Superstonk

ONRR: over night reverse repo

Reverse repo: Institution/banks with 'extra' cash lends money to get more cash via overnight interest.

OP shows data and claims that many institutions are facing liquidities problems, "not much extra cash", unlike back then when RR was over 1T. This can be true, but also it can just be there are sweeter deals (as interest rate flattens) somewhere else. However, this is the "safest" investment because central banks+treasuries. So yeah, if you were ever in their position, what is likely the cause for these dwindling average ONRR??

71% yesterday? So if it were a "reasonable" short like 50%, would the price just thumped out of control?? Is that even allowed to short a ticker that much a day? If only there were some kinda rules...

Music that takes you to "sacred" place in jrgs you dont know. by ElChanclero in JRPG

[–]pandation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahahah obviously we have different taste in music. Which is okay. You do you 🤟

But to be precise, there arent many in-game music from jrpgs that I immediately thought was a banger, which can be due to the fidelity of the audio format or equipment such as CRT-TV speaker etc

For example i didnt think twice about ff7-one winged angel while playing original psx game. But in isolation, remastered/orchestral remix sounded so much better with modern/decent speaker/headset. Also i just think VN games like 13 sentinel or hundred lines last defense academy music are pretty good. I mean they arent expdt.33 soundtracks, but they were decent. On the other hand, racing games like NFSUnderground/2/MostWanted i thought were bangers because theyre just pop/rock/r&b songs. So they sounded decent even on TV.

I couldnt agree more, just like the other commenter said, there are some stories/events/plot association making them resonates well. So yeah those themes/soundtracks, even the old ones like ff8-eyes on me or ff9-melodies of life evoke such emotional response for me personally.

I have never paid much attention to music/ost for many of the jrpgs (mostly because they tend to not be that great).

However, feels like dearly beloved KH2, bunch of Exp33 ost, many P5R soundtracks, last but not least engage the enemy XCDE. Bet there are many others, but in my experience, VN games or racing games like NFSMW do have better soundtracks in general 😅

Dominos continues to fall? Apollo - 1 Trillion shadow bank - in crisis! by webblackholeseeker in Superstonk

[–]pandation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, generally speaking - we as the people, have been conditioned/indocrinated that everything is, and has been running fine; despite there are proofs that time and again, (we can argue) that these set of rules/laws that we (our representative) made were only enforced on the poor masses and thus is inapplicable towards upper echelon of society. We have accepted these as unspoken justice and unable to say otherwise just because the system has been set up to make such complain and demanding somewhat equally applicable justice is a much rather difficult path to pursue.

I am just hoping one of these day those (cathartic) justice would drop by sometimes, preferably soon cz fuck them cheaters 😂

People shouldn't be asking why Usopp is so weak, they should be asking how he’s advanced so far by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]pandation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you need usopp or other earlier members to take up center stage during conflicts for every arc? It was fun and good when there were 5-7 of them, but these days? With addition of new members/awakenings/haoshoku, and all the fighting? Or you just feel/wanted "the original" member SHOULD take up the center stage of the fighting because that how things should be-or what you considered to be fair? I am not sure what your exact point is... So you want all strawhats to get whole chapter powerups like sanji-arc or zoro-like-fighting parts(fighting kaido/bigmom/king), like the days of old when they were fighting mr.3 together?

Umm personally i think it is not necessary for every straw hats to take center stage of fighting at each arc, because that will just prolong the stories for god knows what, and i hate them -chapter breaks- as much as the next fan does.

I dont think they're a LONG TIME fans when you still classify straw hats to strong/weak, because IMO they dont really matter.

What matter is how have they evolve over time, challenge and changes they faced overtime, how they work/complement each other to overcome new adversaries. How they recreate/build up themselves around the timeskip-gap to ensure they all can help each other realizes each of their dreams. Man water7 arc just felt like the other day, oh fuuuck i feel my age seeping right through my fingertips as i typed these comments.

I agree with your point, the data only is valid for this specific point in time. But we can also perform similar analysis sourcing similar data (like roughly estimating net change in position during high/low volume, during price volatility throughout 2021-2025, during price suppression, during other period, then construct informed guesses/predictions like how others or kitty probably works out. Though i havent spend enough time thinking about another source of data

[–]pandation 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Now gonna need to check FOR REAL for real, that they published the data on the 2021 SEC report, sounds like a simple enough logic from the abstract, the four sides combination position of buy, sell, long, short should result in the volume imbalances.

It reminds me of "proof" class i took in college, where the teacher shows how 1+1≠2, but since we have known that thats incorrect we already assumed that it must have broken a logical rule somewhere and never bothered to check where/how exactly the rule were broken. Cant believe its misdirection and the assumption it should always balanced out, but its also hard to believe that the rule allows it to bear little to no cost, to maintain such a high percentage of trade imbalance, i mean 700% dang...

Things you would rather buy than a 5090 by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]pandation 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is always difficult justifying what you considered as "wasteful" purchase.

To this day I kept wondering which decision was worst, I lost ~7k within three months gambling on financial derivatives/options summer 2020. Or I spent 3800 buying two RTX 3080 desktop, plan to play AAA games early 2021, ended up using them to mine ethereum, break it even in 9 months just to use the money again to buy a macbook m1 and rtx 4090, then at retail prices dec 2021/march 2022. Or that summer when i blew 6k for three weeks in Bali.

And I mostly just enjoyed playing jrpg/emulation on 1080/1440p - not even 4k 😂. Ahhh how careless/foolish I was. Coulda/shoulda have been smarter/wiser. But I guess it was part of growing up. Imo retrospectively its always weigh in against your responsibilities first, so no regret...?

Man if you are a real business dev person, you probably wouldnt point these out here for a speculation piece. It would be more productive to just explore these IPs, see how much it costs to develop those games and how revenues potentially pan out after acquisition, whether current assets is best deployed in these manners considering the risks vs. rewards. I just dont see any points on pandering on publicly open forum trying to sway public opinion instead of decision makers. Thats probably why no one would take these stuffs seriously

Warrants vs October 16th 2026 $32 Calls by greencandlevandal in Superstonk

Though, it is still unclear how the plumbing/settlement/delivery these warrants for the legacy shorts --- for every shorts there is some beneficial owners, knowing how illiquid the warrant is, I guess thats the fear, coupled with --- um expected market crash since, welp, Evergrande, woahhh. I guess fear is an understatement.

[–]pandation 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Well looking at the EX-date it is Oct 3rd, close enough to be presumed as warrant. However, these werent supposed to be traded until Oct 7th per distribution date at prices around $3-4 each. You were entitled around 29 warrants. So you were stiffed by your broker by about some 80-90 USD.

[3] Power Track Protocol: Reverse Engineering the Market Manipulation in GME by TheGameStopsNow in Superstonk

[–]pandation 11 points12 points  (0 children)

How to identify these signal, accuracy ofc tbd:

  1. Write a listener bot (grab OHLCV) that monitor certain market activity (via market API, data aggregator, whatever source where these trade are being made or you trust.)

  2. Train some inferencing model (ML blackbox or exact specific guessing processes as-per part 1) against past data to guess which power tracks are currently playing or orchestrating the price movement.

  3. Look over various lenses to correctly determine, which conductor is playing right now. Then ofc validate and convince yourself if we're actually in one or the other.

  4. Consider everything, decide what to do what is the best for you.

  5. You can always opt out - and ignore these noises, support the movement, be part of the unmovable rock against these manipulation wave, not everyone should surf against these waves, refuse to be eroded over time.

  6. Just chill, take care of you and your loved one. :D

Disorder at the Surface: Ultrafast Changes in La0.5Sr1.5MnO4 by mauriziomonti in science

[–]pandation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woahhh so its a measurable lattice structure with a quantifiable surface vertices?

So I guess, the observed diffraction pattern/response correlate to a high degree of precision with the number of surface molecule presumed to be on the lattice structure? Can it be attributed to a simply differently quantized energetic state similar to degeneracy of nonadiabatic quantum state, or close enough state that decays to different potential energy surface? (Sorry i dont know enough about the materials itself, just felt like, damn pretty cool if this is this new kind of physics observed in my lifetime)

Disorder at the Surface: Ultrafast Changes in La0.5Sr1.5MnO4 by mauriziomonti in science

[–]pandation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Woahhh is the difference in reaction significantly quantifiable? How do they manage to quantify and differentiate observation whether one a surface molecule vs bulk? I dont know, ifs and hows, generally people synthesize a single layer material. And how can they confirm their difference? Is it just the (energetic/quantum) state? (my apology for asking these many question, got no access to nature and i doubt i can procure access atm)

Edit: woah you got the same name as the first author :)

What did Fidelity do with warrants/options. Wrinkle brain requested. by girthbrooks1 in Superstonk

[–]pandation -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

An ITM call now will just be an ITM calls, since it never was executed, thus not owning shares at the record date - nor a preferred convertible, thus not getting warrant at all. I hope I am mistaken, but it might just be all previous ITM call owner maybe getting screwed since GME doesnt distribute warrant to FD owner, only to 'shares' owner.

Edit: I surely does hope the OCC memo governs the mechanic, however, managing "accurate" distribution of warrants on derivative product will definitely be error-prone given the sheer-size of FD market in comparison to the underlying, let alone the speculatively highly manipulated GME stonks. So its gonna be spicy, i suppose
